Ik was blij met: The campsite was so clean and tidy the pub its self was wonderful and all the staff were amazing to the food is very nice 👌 we appreciatey enjoy are stay and will return very soon the you so much

Ik was blij met: Great spot not far form the lake and new showers and toilet facilities

Ik was niet zo blij met: The beer garden benches are too close to the motorhome pitches so we had a group of people right next to our pitch. I would suggest moving them further away

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only a little Niggle, there aren't any sort of anti slip mats in the showers at allso both of my toddlers ended up slipping and falling a couple of times. It might be something we start packing ourselves as could be the norm ??

Ik was blij met: Location was fantastic, food excellent. Good walks direct from the site and the staff are wonderful

Ik was blij met: Great space, clean toilets and shower block (there is only one toilet though) and the pub was brilliant for dinner and breakfast.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The bays need marking out for the motor homes / caravans. It was quite confusing in terms of the pitch size and space and other motorhomes had taken pitches reserved for other people. We were left to sort it out without much help from the pub

Ik was blij met: New shower block was lovely

Ik was niet zo blij met: We had a specific reserved pitch but on arrival all pitches were occupied. I asked someone to show us to our pitch which a young girl did but someone was in our spot another camper said that everyone had occupied the wrong space and I would have to park next to a wall which was not ideal . Campers should be shown to their space on arrival as I understand from previous reviews this happens a lot.

Ik was blij met: Limited number of spaces but that was a bonus for me.

There are enough facilities and the toilet/ showers were brand-new.

You can get meals in the pub and there is a deli takeaway if required. About a five min drive to Coniston.

Ik was niet zo blij met: You do have to share outside seating with drinkers but as they will most likely be visitors to the area they should be like minded people there for hikes/water sports.
