Ik was blij met Well kept site and very friendly owner.
The fishing pond is a highlight which hosts some amazing looking fish!
The facilities are clean and well kept. There are several toilets which means no waiting around.
We have a caravan and found no problems at all with the electric. The running water to each caravan is very convenient too. The local pub serves lovely food and is only around 1 mile away and dog friendly.
Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Ik was blij met Really enjoyed our stay, well maintained and quiet camp site. Great location. The host was very nice and even that we were 2 hours late (8:30 pm) he was still waiting for us. Will visit again.

Ik was blij met I recently stayed at The Berries in Appleton Thorn and can’t recommend it highly enough. The location is peaceful and beautifully kept, with a friendly pub nearby for food and drinks. What really made the stay special was the owner—he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Even our pug, Bella, adored him! At one point she leapt into his fishpond, and without hesitation he came to her rescue with a smile. The pitches are spacious and well-maintained, the facilities are clean and practical, and the whole atmosphere is warm and relaxed. A truly lovely spot that we’ll definitely be returning to!

Ik was blij met Great campsite, easy to find and well signposted. Quiet area and great for dark skies!
Spacious pitches with close EHU points, fire extinguishers, drinking water points and grass was well maintained with good ground for tent pegs
Toilets were clean, well lit and well stocked with toilet paper and hand towels - hand soap dispenser would be a nice addition
Good phone signal
Ben was really friendly and communication was good, I stayed with my 3 year old and he even offered to lend us a heater if we got too cold which was lovely
Ideal base for Applejacks adventure nearby.
Will definitely stay again! Thank you ☺️
