Ik was blij met I enjoyed the 'wild' nature of the campsite, being able to pitch where I liked and there was plenty of space.

Ik was niet blij met I could have done with more information on where to find water, and the portaloo was close to overflowing. The double gate system to get into the campsite also seemed unnecessary. It wasn't really needed but I couldn't connect to any advertised WiFi.

Thanks for your booking , I will change the description of where the tap is thank you but we have just fitted a second. As the farm and not a camp site per se (it’s only a 60 day pop up wild camp ) is our home the double gates are necessary due to protecting the animals from PROW users who have let animals onto the road resulting sadly in a death. We would prefer not to have them too

Ik was blij met Beautiful site, very clean and tidy, the peacocks were a fantastic surprise in the morning. The communication with the hosts was absolutely incredible, and as a woman camping alone I felt very safe. Portaloo was much cleaner and well stocked than I anticipated. All in all, a really good nights stay ready for the GNR the following day.

Ik was niet blij met We arrived early but were allowed into the site,we pitched our tent and walked to the tap for making a brew, unfortunately no water in tap.My partner walked to the toilet but it wouldn't flush.
I wrote a text to the owner,i received a text telling me check in is at 1pm and who let us in.
I kept checking the tap but still no water,the owner said she would get her daughter to turn the water on,I checked again,still no water,the owner said her daughter had turned the wrong valve,still no water.
After several more texts she suggested we leave and receive a refund.
We were only too glad to take up this offer after the way she spoke to us.
I have sent screenshots of the text conversation to Pitch up.
Do yourselves a favour and find a friendly site.

Van de manager: I really think you should be ashamed of yourself ! You arrived at 10.30am when check in is from 1pm & water was not on yet as the field had been closed. I explained to you I had been admitted to critical care with a collapsed lung & pneumonia leaving my 17yr old home alone. My husband being helicoptered home due to my critical health. My daughter had twisted the wrong valve but you shouldn’t been there anyway! You were invited to leave and given a full refund because you manner was so abrupt despite being told of the emergency & you shouldn’t been there at 10.30am. The water was put on fine. Thankfully my husband arrived home to help my daughter & I was discharged Tuesday still very sick, incidentally everyone had a great time on the field at the weekend you should be ashamed

Ik was blij met The surrounding areas were beautiful. This was my first time away in my van and i was really stressed, but once i got myself sorted, i was calm and relaxed.
I would definetly go back. The walks are beautiful. Thank you so much.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunatley one of the owners was admitted to hospital. I am sending you a speedy recovery and get well soon. Hopefully next time, we will get to say hi. GET WELL SOON

Ik was blij met The area is beautiful
I felt safe and secure travelling with my Grandaughter
The public walks could be better sign posted. It would have been nice to know if we could buy some fresh eggs and the toilet had seen better days
I would stay here again

Ik was niet blij met Absolutely everything. Dogs barking. Dog muck in the field. Reminants of big bonfires everywhere. Stayed half an hour didn’t even put up gbe tent then left. Booked another campsite 5 minutes away called valley view camp site which was exact opposite. Do yourself a favour and give this one a miss.
Wouldn’t give them 1 star but it’s not an option.

Van de manager: There is no dog muck everywhere, you stayed 30 minutes & chose not to pitch on the wild camping field & when I text you, you hadn’t even been on the fields ! which was a shame as was a good weekend

Ik was blij met Nice quiet place. Owners were helpfull on arrival. Very friendly on the day i stayed. Plenty space to pitchup. Water tap and portaloo available

Ik was niet blij met The portaloo had the worst smell ever and didn’t flush. Kids wouldn’t use it.

Ik was blij met We came early so got a good pitch nice and flat and out the way really enjoyed our stay

Van de manager: Thank you very much for your kind review . We would love to be able to afford 2 portaloo but it would make the wild camping field unviable to continue due to cost of professional servicing & hire. Hopefully one day we might expand & be great to offer proper toilet block
