Serenity on the Swale

Ik was blij met Serenity on the Swale is a well cared for, very peaceful, pitch on the side of the river.
Jacquie, the owner made us feel very welcome but didn’t intrude on our stay.

Ik was blij met No facilities, however this little gem overlooking the river is a tranquil getaway which envelops you in nature (but it's still only a 20mins walk to the village of Topcliffe with 2 great pubs etc).

Fantastic communication from the owner, who does her upmost to make sure you enjoy your stay. Thank you 😍

Ik was niet blij met If you need toilets and shower then this isn’t the place, but we loved it and knew this

Van de manager: Many thanks for your feedback and yes this is a CAMpRA site for self contained camper and motor homes for up to 72 hours, to simply to provide some peace and quiet, before an onward journey. There are some lovely campsites not too far away who offer facilities if needed. 😊

Ik was blij met Lovely little piece of land on the banks of the river swale, with room for 5 campers. Peaceful and relaxing

Ik was niet blij met Would be great if there was a cold water tap , not sure if this would be possible though due to the location.

Ik was blij met Simple beautiful,❤️ small but just perfectly formed , loved the wild life ,the peace, the river, grass cut perfect and edges left for wild flowers, total relaxation, just what we needed. Great communication with the owner.

Ik was blij met Stunning views, Immaculately maintained site,very secure with perfect river view pitches.The host couldn’t have been any more helpful and friendly. Without a doubt one of the most picturesque locations we have ever stayed,we have already booked another break here!!!

Ik was blij met What a gem you have, a lovely place to stay quiet and tranquil.Felt safe and secure had a good night sleep.Only us on site.

Ik was blij met Everything ! Total peace and tranquility a little gem of a site with a slow moving river just a couple of yards away to add to the ambience but to be fair we were the only ones on site, we booked for one night but stayed for 3 !
Topcliffe village with 2 pubs both serving meals on certain days is within easy walking distance aprox 15mins.
I would recommend adhering to the 6mtr length of motorhome as 4 of the 5 pitches are parking nose to tail so any longer may be difficult to park between others as well as turning round to exit the site, for us with our 7.5 mtr motorhome it wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones on the site.
The site owners were polite and quickly replied to messages.
Overall we would certainly stay here again should we be visiting the area, worth every penny of the site fee.

Ik was blij met Location was very private peaceful and next to a river. Lovely seating area with lots of wild flowers birds ect. Host was very helpful and a lovely person to deal with.
