Ik was blij met: Beautifully maintained site, felt very green & peaceful, tucked away with amazing views - good for the soul! Modern, super clean facilities & excellent walks plus large designated dog area. Friendly reception & nice touch re coffee & pastry order, even though I didn’t use this myself. Have already booked a longer stay 😊

Ik was blij met: The whole site especially how clean the toilets/showers and kitchen area was.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Would have been handy to have bins at the end of each row of pitches.

Ik was blij met: Really well organised park with great facilities and location, with good access to the stunning black rock beach. The site team were very helpful and welcoming, great information packs and a clean, tidy and well maintained site, with level pitches. The site also has an on site bakery which creates fantastic products to order from a limited menu, delicious 😋

Ik was blij met: Great weekend away camping! Fantastic site with some great nearby walks and some great views on-site. The site facilities were spot-on and clean. Couldn't fault our stay at Howgill Lodge.

Ik was blij met: Sehr schöne Einrichtungen, ordentlich und sauber. Toll, dass man Feuer machen darf. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, aber der Platz liegt sehr weit außerhalb und ist nicht einfach zu erreichen.

Ik was blij met: Great location and super helpful friendly staff! Facilities were clean and well looked after. Really enjoyed our stay. Information provided before hand was helpful.

Ik was blij met: This was our second stay at Howgill and if possible it exceeded expectation. From arrival, the staff on reception checked us in with a wealth of local and site information. The pitch was in great condition despite recent poor weather and the shower and toilet facilities are the best I’ve ever come across. We made use of the washing up and fridge facilities which were also fantastic.

Ik was blij met: Amazing views and probably the best pitch on the site. Staff very helpful and clearly very hardworking as the site and facilities are well maintained and clean. Beautiful river walk within distance and the superb Love Brownies. The secure dog play area is a winner. Apart from the unseasonal weather , everything was perfect.

Ik was blij met: Excellent toilet, shower and washing up block. Best of my week in 4 different locations 👍 Excellent pitch at the end of the bottom row, great view. Even though it was very busy with families it certainly wasn’t noisy Great reception area too, very welcoming arrival and clear guidance about the site and where to live

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not a dislike just feedback about the WiFi strength. It’s awesome that a campsite has WiFi so it isn’t a complaint. Having the luxury of WiFi means you’re expectations are raised that it will be stable and strong
