Ik was blij met the pitches, scenery, near a huge variety of places of interest

Ik was niet blij met at the weekend were the facilities at limit and not as clean as I would have expected
at the other days the facilities were ok

Ik was blij met First time caravan trip. Nice site, lots of amenities so have nothing to grumble about . Pitch was a very good size

Ik was niet blij met Toilets were dirty, people were playing loud music into the late night. (i would have expected some one to tell them off. also, men from spaces 18/19 came back after midnight shouting, swearing and singing like there was no one in their surroundings. Overall, disrespectful and noisy campsite, will try to avoid in the future. Also, not enough showers.

Ik was blij met The countryside location was beautiful and peaceful, and we found it easy to visit interesting places in the local area. The site was generally well-maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. The showers were always hot.

Ik was niet blij met It would have been useful to have a working drinking water tap in the part of the field we were in.

Ik was blij met Fantastic site with large level pitches and open views of the countryside. We went with our family and grandkids and all had a fab time. Freshly prepared pizzas was an added bonus, they were superb

Ik was niet blij met The shop was only open for 2 hours early morning, a couple of hours in the afternoon as well would have been handy.

Ik was blij met Nice location nice large pitches.

Ik was niet blij met On the onset it looked ok but the outside of the bar was an accident waiting to happen the garden furniture was rotten and very untidy driving in looked like a scrap yard . Such a shame the owners are not looking after it the buildings are beautiful.

Ik was blij met We arrived Saturday evening (6.30pm) and left 10.00am Sunday so did not stay very long. Booked non-electric pitch. Checked in with friendly staff at the very busy bar, and told to pick one of the pitches available in the field (handy site map provided).

Due to some pitches not marked out there were only 2 visible spaces for our van. This is great if there's a few of you that want to pitches together, but was a little annoying that a whole corner was taken up by cars belonging to nearby tents (had we been there longer we'd have wanted/requested a bit more space).

The atmosphere on the site was fun and you could see different groups with the kids getting together in the field for a game of football. Lovely to watch.

We didnt use the pub but was very busy. A group near us brought pizzas back to tent which looked and smelt amazing.

Dog friendly and everyone respectful of noise and 'lights out' in the evening.

Great location for exploring the dales.

Ik was niet blij met The toilets and showers are all in one block (I did only use the one toilet block, there is another but didnt see it). Floor very wet and because the site was so busy (and the time in the evening) lots of waiting and tissue etc on floors. Couldn't wash my hands after toilet because a large group of teens/young adults washing faces and brushing teeth etc would be better as separate blocks.

Ik was blij met Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The onsite pub is a lovely touch, very cosy and a perfect escape after pitching up or a long hike when you're seeking comfort and a drink! Reasonably priced too. The shop is only open for a couple of hours in a morning, selling plenty of essentials as well as hot drinks and pastries if you want a morning treat with your brew! This is in an ideal location if you're wanting to explore the local area, we did travel further afield for a day trip to the lakes which wasn't a bad drive! The campsite overall was well maintained and kept tidy, with fellow campers respecting the area.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately we weren't able to sample the pizzas that initially drew us into booking this site! We arrived on the Friday and went to book online and they were already "sold out" for the following night. Taking into consideration how busy the campsite was, surely they could be better prepared and make more dough with 24hours notice? The shower facilities also let this site down. Although the showers were a great temperature, the showers flooded resulting in the toilet & changing area becoming that wet it was difficult to get dressed without your clothes getting wet in the process. They also weren't the cleanest, but I don't necessarily think this is completely down to the staff as I did witness them being cleaned. I just think the bad drainage system causes an issues with excessive use.
