Ik was blij met: We stayed for 3 nights in early August, we had a lovely pitch on a beautiful site with nice surroundings, the owner’s were friendly and made us feel welcome. Hopefully to return at some point.

Ik was blij met: Very friendly by all , the owners should be proud off this site, we couldnt ask for anything more. Perfect location for f Different days out , Perfect pitches , great for young children to the older children , signal is really good here too , fresh eggs in the morning , toilets shared which didn't bother us and very clean and even a pizza night very yummy. Fishing lake and Trains going past are a added bonus too, we will definitely be returning xx

Ik was blij met: Friendly owner , very clean site , large pitches , well stocked lake , very good if you had children as it has a well stocked play area

Ik was niet zo blij met: Shower and toilet in same room so if someone was showering we couldn't use the toilet, although this wouldn't put us off using the site again

Ik was blij met: Parked the campervan at the lake. Stunning views. Would highly recommend. Toilets/Shower very clean.

Ik was blij met: Everything!!! even though we were out in country yet the coast was so accessible within 20 minutes drive the owners couldn't do enough to help offering to pick up basic groceries with their shopping while at Scarborough .Toilet facilities good and fishing(Don's pond )within walking distance what more can you ask for we will certainly return.Thanks Sue for making us feel so welcome

Ik was blij met: Exceptionally clean site the toilet and shower were just like a home from home The fishing lake is also well maintained and stocked Well situated for a quiet get away or exploring malton , Pickering Scarborough and other surrounding attractions

Ik was blij met: The site was clean and tidy and a nice walk down by the ponds.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Trains - a bit of a marmite thing but very close. Toilets and shower were very poor and shared. Couldn’t use toilets while someone was in the shower either - not nice set up there and god knows when they were last cleaned properly.

Van de manager: Dear Mr Clarke, I do feel that your review of our site is rather unkind, especially as you literally stayed overnight! I appreciate that the toilet block in this area is in need of replacing, it has served us well and will be changed next year( as a small business we have limited funds to do everything we would like to!) However, it is checked and cleaned daily (nobody else to date has had any issues with cleanliness) The trains are mentioned in our advertising description. We work exceptionally hard everyday to provide a relaxing place for people to stay and have a large following of regular customers who appreciate what we have to offer. We have lots of excellent reviews and we are delighted to know that for the majority of the time we’ve got it right!!
