Ik was blij met: the cleanliness, the location, 1m from a brilliant canal walk into Melbourne, 1m into nearby Pocklington town for drinks, eats, great pub at 1m at Fangfoss with superb landlady Sally,

Ik was niet zo blij met: dog owners walking their dogs right up to other tents not appreciating at all that not all campers want to meet their dog, personal space should be respected, tent pitches are very close, I reckon when full it would seem overcrowded

With reference to the pitches ours are nearly 10m wide which I feel are more than adequate for giving you plenty of space, and I feel do not feel overcrowded when full.

Ik was blij met: Lovely quiet site with immaculate facilities and friendly owners. Toilets, showers and washing up area all spotless and music playing in the facilities was a nice touch. Lovely part of the world, with lots of great walks and nice pubs nearby.

Ik was blij met: Very welcoming on arrival, had everything needed for our overnight onward journey.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Couldn't see any identifiable recycling bins. 2 toilets and one shower in each facility could be a problem over a busy period but thats only our thoughts. (Not a dislike as we didn't have a problem on our stay).

Ik was blij met: Very peaceful with lovely toilet/shower block and washing-up facilities. We had a chilly weather week and spent time in the warm washing-up area reading all the leaflets and file! It was good to have the microwave and free freezer facility too. Nigel was very helpful when I needed WiFi fairly urgently and a very friendly Host. We used our bus passes to get from Pocklington to York and Beverley, which was nice and relaxing.

Ik was niet zo blij met: It would have been nice to have recycling bins - we took our recycling home.

Van de manager: Thank you for your lovely review, and pleased to here you enjoyed your stay with us. Rycycling rubbish is something I have tried very hard with, but I struggle to get everyone to do it! so we collect all the rubbish and then it gets sent away to be sorted and recycled.

Ik was blij met: A friendly welcome was nice to this lovely quiet, peaceful campsite. Plenty of room at each of the tent pitches. Nice clean toilets and shower and washing up area. Would highly recommend.

Ik was blij met: Everything was amazing. A really pleasant stay. Great manager, lovely resident dog and cat. Lovely and quiet, no kids.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Disliked the snoring from neighbouring tent but as new campers have learnt to take earplugs for future stays.

Ik was blij met: The Pod was amazing. It had everything you needed to relax. It was extremely clean and cosy. The whole site was perfect. The toilets were modern, clean with all the facilities you need. The extra touches from it's own kitchen area with fridge, microwave was a refreshing surprise. There was even a dvd collection you could look through and use for the dvd TV player in the pod. The grounds were perfectly maintained and the owners were really friendly and welcoming.
