Peachey Place Campsite

Ik was blij met I found the campsite excellent lovely and quiet which is what I wanted. Plenty of space which is what you always want friendly staff clean toilets hot showers hot water at the washing up point could not ask for more and we were treated really well by the people.

Ik was blij met Everything about this site is fantastic. Information booklet sent prior to arrival, incredibly helpful Richard who met us on site and Rosa who told us all about the local area before our stay. Already booked our next stay.

Ik was blij met Spacious pitch . Small village about 20mins walk. And a lots of walking options. Staff welcome you and clean campsite.

Ik was blij met Really spacious pitches, and a nice area in the middle for our teens to play ball
Toilets were clean and well stocked of paper and soap etc
Good washing up and recycling facilities
Lots of information given prior to arriving relating to the site and surrounding area
We didn't get to meet the owner at any point during our stay unfortunately, but we were given instructions as to where to pitch etc via telephone which was fine

Ik was niet blij met We could not get the hot water to work in the communal showers for love nor money, even though we followed the tips/instructions on the signs on the wall. We did however manage to get the single showers to work which were again fine for us

Ik was blij met Great little campsite flat dry field, clean toilets and showered, water and electric hook up next to tent, we were allowed a fire pit and kids had a play field with footy nets. 2 towns within 3min drive or 10min walk both had great takeaways and pubs and next to motorway turning so easy access to get everywhere! Rosa was great communication ahead of time with all info via WhatsApp definitely recommend we had 3 families, 3 tents and a gazebo pitch sizes where massive!

Ik was niet blij met It’s a bit exposed not much shelter but normally not a problem but we went storm Dave weekend which we had a very windy night but all the fun still loved it!

Ik was blij met Been twice we love it not far to walk from the village lovely countryside nice shower and toilets Richard is very friendly we give it a 5 star

Ik was niet blij met Happy to use a unisex shower but found the lack of a lockable door disconcerting

The shower area you were referring to is designed more as a family shower area, so parents can supervise young children from the changing area without worrying that they might accidentally lock themselves in, which is why the individual cubicles inside don’t have internal locks. However, the main door into the family shower room is lockable for privacy.

For guests who prefer additional privacy, we also have individual shower cubicles elsewhere on-site, each with their own door and key.

Ik was blij met Great campsite just off the beaten track. Lovely owners Graham and Richard made me feel welcome. Amenities were more than adequate and some nice walks on the doorstep
