Ik was blij met A very lovely site, clean, quiet and well maintained. The site had a lot of amenities including washer and dryer. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was so much to do, the maise maze was our favourite. The kids loved the tyre swings and made a lot of friends.

Ik was niet blij met The rabbits entering the porch looking for snacks! But they left quite quickly once a light was turned on

Ik was blij met We stayed here for 1 night en-route to Scotland, although other reviews say it was noisey due to the close proximity to the A66 it didn’t affect our stay and we had a very enjoyable stay. Great site and the shop is a fabulous bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful x

Ik was blij met Stayed here with our grandchildren for 4 nights, ages 4 and 2. Beautiful setting, friendly staff, amazing shop and cafe. The soft play is great addition lovely and clean. Being able to interact and feed the animals and go through the Maize was fantastic and the kids loved it. The play park is great too.

Ik was niet blij met The family/disabled toilets require an upgrade.

Ik was blij met Were to start.. the staff were all lovely especially the young guy in shop. The restaurant was clean shop was clean and stocked . The toilets were spotless warm and inviting. Loved the antique store were we met Molly the dog. Shop worker was lovely she was great with my younger son who loves collecting old money. The garden centre had a great range of flowers at reasonable price. The farm animals were so cute you could walk up and see them at any time. They were very friendly. The pigs were great one rolled over to scratch his belly. The wee billy goats were so cute they all came running up to see us. We were placed on grass part next to the road. I had read the reviews before hand regarding the noise but it didn't bother us at all. There were wee rabbits and ducks everywhere just going about there own business. It was great to see. All in all my husband my nine year old and I loved this place and will certainly be back.

Ik was niet blij met U have to buy electric card I got ten pounds on it I only used £1.85 I couldn't get a refund as I had to leave early and the shop doesn't open till nine. The barrier on way out needs a code and I lost it I had to find another camper awake to get code usually it's only inwards u need code.the restaurant bit dear especially for a cake and coffee

Ik was blij met Great location, very friendly site, close to Barnard castle, clean showers and facilities. The scotch eggs are Devine. Lots to choose from in the shop

Ik was blij met All the facilities were clean and in great condition. Restaurant and shop were amazing. Kids loved soft-play and all the animals around the site. Going back for sure.

Ik was blij met The facilities are very clean and well looked after.
Lovely campsite for kids as have kids play park and a lot of animals, kids loved the farm area.
There is a softplay but we never needed to use this.
Showers and toilets were well maintenanced which is key for camping.

Ik was niet blij met This isn’t about the campsite but something to bear in mind it is beside a busy road so the traffic noise can be heard. So if you are wanting peaceful the road noise did prevent us from having a good sleep. We had to go and buy sound proof headphones for sleeping. Like I say this isn’t the camp site fault but something to bear in mind.
