Hill Farm

Ik was blij met Nice, relaxed site. The owner was very nice and helpful. He moved us to a better spot due to tje soze of my van which was lovely of him. Toilets and shower were basic but very clean and functional. Great pub (the Fox) half an hours walk through the field opposite

Ik was blij met Lovely site with great facilities, flushing toilets and free hot showers 👌 right next to the pitch
No silly extras for dogs or awnings etc and fires are allowed 👍
Just a 20 minute drive from some amazing coastline and the food at the fox pub round the corner was outstanding

Ik was blij met Received 3 emails before arrival, bill paid, directions, and about the site.. met by Jack's assistant Jeff on arrival, a top lad who always smiling, and would always ask on passing " everything OK " ? any probs I'm over there !
the place is excellent regarding pitch and adjoining woodland area, great for dogs !.. we had it hot n sun, but had shade if needed with trees& bushes around, sheltered too, the toilets and shower blocks may be a tad dated, BUT they worked, showers always hot, always clean too, loo rolls always there, some describe quirky, I'll go with that lol.. water tap on pitch..we're pension age and long time campers, theres obvious rules to adhere to, but without having an obsessive nature.. free wifi also ..we'll be coming back, we enjoyed the place.

Ik was blij met I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hill Farm. The campsite is quaint and not overly busy, and although there are other campers on site its quiet easy to forget and immerse yourself in the beauty of the place.

The pitches are lovely and personal and you're not jammed in close together like sardines.

There are ample toilets and showers and other camping facilities dotted around the site not far from the pitches, so the midnight jaunt to the toilet isn't a two mile hike like in other campsites.

Jaik and Jeff were particularly welcoming. Would definitely return!

Ik was blij met I arrived just before my time. No one was to be found but the details set out in the instructions made it very easy to find my pitch. The pitch itself was a little rough underfoot but its location on the site was perfect for me. It was nestled in between some trees a perfect spot for watching the sun set in peace and quiet. Later in the afternoon I met the owner who was friendly and approachable. It had everything I needed on site; toilet, shower, washing up facilities and electric hook up. As a solo female I felt safe and comfortable, some of the regulars there were friendly and happy to help with any questions I had.

Ik was niet blij met I wasn’t keen on how rough the ground was or the fact I had to add an extension to the electric hook up. Saying that you get what you pay for.

Ik was blij met 45% shade for most pitches, level, spacious, easy to find, no queuing for several clean showers and toilets, a friendly and helpful host, lots of tables chairs and toys around the site, a mile from a good pub cum restaurant and a Budgen's supermarket. Good value. No idea why it's called Hill Farm!
