Located about 20 yards from a river, the campsite at Simpson's Boatyard is in a peaceful rural location between the Norfolk broads and the east coast of England. With fishing, boat hire, paddleboarding and canoeing opportunities close at hand in and around the small market town of Stalham, this site would make a great base for active breaks or those looking to soak up as much of the local scenery as possible. As far as facilities go, Simpson's Boatyard has toilets and a chemical toilet disposal point, but more amenities are available a short walk away in Stalham town centre, where there is a supermarket, takeaways, pubs and other handy things. Buses and taxis are easy to get around here if you don't fancy bringing the car, and cycling's a popular option too. If you like watching the boats bobbing by along the river, it's also a short drive from Simpson's Boatyard to the coast, with the nearest north Norfolk beaches being roughly 10 minutes away by road.
