The Wildings Elms Meadow

Ik was blij met The layout of the campsite is brilliant for nature, privacy, and community generating, and it is fun. Each camper has their allocated roomy private space marked by generally native bushes, hedges, trees and flowers. There are multiple little private pathways between pitches and the hub (kitchen, shower, toilet). You can never get bored travelling the pathways!
Recycling of waste is taken seriously

Ik was blij met The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful.
The layout of the site was fabulous - we had our own generous area surrounded by trees and shrubs yet close to the facilities.
We loved hearing and seeing all the birdlife which thrive in the surroundings.
The communal kitchen with use of a fridge and freezer was extremely useful as the weather was very hot and our little camping fridge just could not cope.
Everything we could possibly need was provided.
Our many and varied days out were all within 15 to 20 miles of the site so it is an excellent location for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk areas.

Ik was blij met For us a gem of a find, A small peaceful, well maintained site, pitches large and private. Toilets amd showers really good and more importantly really clean, communal kitchen with fridge/freezer.
Hire of fire pits available!
Can clearly see the pride that goes into the maintenance of this site.
The host even offered all campers to go into her own house during the huge storm lFriday 13th June during the early hours.
Will definitely go back.

Ik was blij met Friendly owners Anissa and Kevin are very helpful and are always at hand by means of a phone call should you need something.
We stayed in the Bumblebee Pod that was clean and well stocked with all you need for the stay ie: bedding, towels, cooking utensils, cups, plates, cutlery etc. plus tea bags, coffee, sugar and even milk in the fridge plus a bottle of Prosecco was on the table.
The pod did not have a toilet but the personal toilet shower room was just a few meters away.
the Bumblebee pod was set in it's own large private area (as is all pods and most pitches) surrounded by bushes and fencing we loved the privacy.
The Wildings is a great place to be if you like star gazing and astro photography (weather permitting) it is in a fairly dark sky area with very little light pollution. We had a long clear night on our first night and I manage to take 3 hours of Nebula photos for staking. A firepit is supplied with the Bumblebee pod, other pods and campers can hire them. Fuel logs etc and even marshmallows can be purchased on site.
This is a great friendly site and we will come back again.

Ik was niet blij met The smoke from some of the fire pits was a bit of a nuisance once or twice but that all depended on the wind direction. It did not spoil our 3 night stay.

Ik was blij met Great place, would highly recommend it if you're looking for peace and quiet in a scenic location. We stayed in 'Bumblebee' pod which is ideal for two people and a small dog. The pod is located in its own private area with an outside cooking spot, fire pit and seating. The pod itself is very compact but comes equipped with everything you need. It is fully insulated and even has underfloor heating should you require it. We did find a couple of 8 legged friends had taken up residence inside the pod but this is to be expected given the rural location. Quickly released into the garden and no further issues. The private bathroom is located in the shower/toliet block which is a 60 second walk from the pod along a well maintained garden path. Also, the staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Overall if you're looking to wake up every day to birdsong and sunshine this is the place for you.

Ik was blij met Beautiful, peaceful, full of life. Excellent and immaculate facilities, with a well-thought-through honesty system. Great location, very accessible.
