Wolferlow Wigwams

Ik was blij met: It was lovely, quiet and peaceful. The shower block and toilet was nicely kept and clean. The wigwams were basic but clean and had a toaster, kettle, microwave and heater. Was warm and cozy, and was bright and airy with 3 windows to open wide, and a split door to just open the top of the door to keep kids/pets inside or the entire door. A BBQ and firepit supplied and a fridge, and smaller freezer on the top. Having a kitchen; guests can use to prepare, cook and wash up was great and a indoor seating area.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Pitch Black at night and couldn't even see where you were going, which was dangerous -even with a bright large torch. No enough plug sockets. No little reading lamp (above or next to the bed) for a dim light, just a big bright light. Not having a toilet in them let's it down, especially with disabled children -they had to go out in the middle of the night in the pitch Black to the porta-toilet behind the wigwam and being scared. The main bright light wouldn't dim and kept of flashing really fast and brightly and my step daughter is Autistic and has ADHD and this affected her. Not being able to park next to the wigwam and have to park across the field. Loads and loads of fly's everywhere and full of them in the wigwam and buzzing around and landing on us constantly. Not liking having to take bedding and make all the beds up on arrival, everywhere else we've been has beds made on arrival. The roads being dirt tracks and like offroading and very uneven grounds. A lot of it is overgrown, messy and unkept behind shower blocks and kitchen etc. After advertising there was logs available to buy, we got there and they didn't have any so we had to go out and travel to nearest town to purchase some.

Ik was blij met: A secluded peaceful stay with everything we needed to escape our usual busy lives. Stunning views, great wigwams, bbq, firepit, star gazing, fields to play in, gorgeous walks. We will be returning as soon as possible. Our host was lovely

Ik was blij met: Everything was brilliant. Very comfortable and the lady helped out the best ahe could. The showers and toilets are nice. The dining area was nice to have the option with.

Ik was blij met: It was amazing, we were given the en-suite wigwam as we had 3 small grandchildren the grounds were sodden, the grandchildren loved it. We were assisted by a staff member who was very keen to help us

Ik was blij met: Quite basic huts, but very comfortable and clean. Very good shower and toilet block, also very well equipped kitchen, dining area for days when weather is bad. Picnic table, bbq and fire pit for each pod, also portaloo behind each pod, very handy for night time! Owners Audrey and Alan very nice, gave plenty of advice on places to visit. Very rural location, if you have energetic dogs who love to run, it's ideal. If you want a peaceful rural location, no frills it's ideal. Loved every minute of our 4 nights stay.

Ik was blij met: Facilities Hosts Peacefulness Security Toilets Showers Kitchen Barbecue Outside seating area The service from the hosts was exceptional. It was secure enough to let our dog roam free. We have stopped in similar places before, but they were the cleanest kitchen , toilet and shower facilities we have ever seen. We will be visiting again. So quiet and serene

Ik was blij met: Small site and very peaceful. Superb facilities which were spotlessly clean. Very welcoming owner who took the time to chat and tell us about all the lovely walks in the local area. Very dog friendly, would definitely return.
