The Cob House Countryside Park

Ik was blij met Great venue. Lovely and clean shpwer/loo block.
Early evening entertainment was amazing on the Sunday evening.
Stayed 3 nights and would deffo recommend

Ik was blij met Staff were really friendly and helpful. Toilet and shower blocks were extremely clean at all times of the day and night. Lots of walks available from the sight for all levels of walkers.
Cafe on site served great food and drinks and again staff were lovely.
Friends were on the camping grass site which was much better than the hard standing.

Ik was niet blij met Only three showers and three toilets for men and women on site, my husband had to queue on a few occasions. Unfortunately, while we stayed there were three large families who took over the site with games, motorised children’s vehicles, karaoke and projecting films on the caravan outside at night.

Ik was blij met Lovely large pitches, toilets/showers kept very clean, great fishing and the cafe/bar was a lovely addition. They had live music on the Sat night which was fab

Ik was niet blij met Shop opening hours seem to be a bit random and when it was open, there wasn't always someone serving. No WiFi in caravan field and Internet signal is none existent but can get WiFi at cafe

Ik was blij met Good sized pitches, plenty of space around.
Toilet & shower block, also the washing up room were very well maintained.
Good fishing lakes.
Good cafe & weekly entertainment.

Ik was niet blij met 2 of the 3 showers in the ladies were useless for hair washing as the spray was too spread out. Also the push button water only ran for 7 seconds in the ladies, 4 seconds in the gents, it should have been at least 10 to 15 seconds.

Ik was blij met We’ve just come back from our 3rd visit now, 2nd with my parents who are not seasoned campers but they love it as much as we do. We have always found the site staff to be helpful and friendly, the breakfast in the cafe is lovely and we just find the site very peaceful.

The animals are great and the kids love going to get some feed to give to them. A couple of hours sat on the smaller lakes fishing is very relaxing.

Close (drive) to pub/shops so you’re never too far from anything you might need. Lovely meal in the Masons Arms down the road.

Ik was blij met Stayed here Friday 8th and sat 9th Aug what a lovely place. Very friendly staff the owner even helped us by driving us to the nearest pub so we could get a taxi as we were going into town on the Friday.very clean well looked after and singers on the sat afternoon brilliant atmosphere carnt wait to return well done to you all👍.

Ik was blij met Great campsite for families, so much to do and all the facilities available. Highlights include lunch at the cafe, and seeing bats flying over the fishing ponds at night.

Ik was blij met Touring field located in separate area near the toilet block, gravel pitches reasonably level, animals onsite very friendly and we spent a lot of time in this area of the park. Large playing field where ball games ect can be played without disturbing anyone else. Cafe onsite although a bit on the pricy side. Good quality play area for the younger children.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately pitches especially in the center are not defined, maybe hedges or fencing would ensure some privacy. Groups of children running about and kicking balls (which did hit our van) as the parent's preferred to continue drinking instead of taking their kids to the very good play area, I am aware it was school holidays, however our kids were not allowed to play round the vans and I don't expect to be bothered by other people's children. Also no discount for residents on the fishing lakes, day tickets very expensive

Ik was blij met Great for children, lots for them to do. Staff in cafe very good . Live band brilliant

Ik was niet blij met Bins overflowing, facilities dirty, warden unfriendly. Shop needs more food provisions.

Ik was blij met Playground and animals helped keep the children entertained. Live music on the Saturday Evening was also a bonus. Toilets and shower block was clean.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are very close together. It became very busy over the weekend and felt like everyone was on top of each other.
