Ik was niet blij met There’s wasn’t anything for kids to do and the cost of £42 for one night only with no shower no park two toilets nothing within walking distance no privacy on the pitches with other campers looking straight into the campervan making us feel uneasy we left within one hour of being there WiFi also don’t work.

Your booking came through on the Saturday morning and if I had know about your booking in advance we could have organised for the children to pet our 16 runner ducks or even our lovely silky chickens that are laying eggs really well. You could have had some eggs for your breakfast the next morning. Nothing better than free range eggs.

I know you mentioned to me about the facilities that we had onsite. The website does not reflect any facilities for children and we are based in a lovely peaceful countryside with lots of wildlife which children do appreciate and the fresh air enjoying the countryside walks is always good for the children just watching the farm animals as you walk past all the farmers fields.

We have just invested £32 k on a new shepherds hut toilet and shower facility which is going to be great and will be installed towards the end of the year. We have had to make do with a temporary toilet block whilst we have saved our money to invest in making the site better. Most caravaners prefer to use their own shower facility and our website does state only toilet facilities.

I do believe my husband was in the caravan next to you as he was having a coffee with one of the people that is staying on our site for a couple of weeks. My husband did state he did look as he was concerned as the thought one of the children was being sick and unwell. Apologies if this made you feel uncomfortable. It is only a small site but the caravans are equally spread out as best as we can to utilise the space. Most caravan fields are open so there is not much privacy.

Living in rural locations comes with some negatives ie not being near anything but some people like getting away from the hustle and bustle. We had a family staying in the bell tent and the child loved the countryside location. We have a scout camp opposite that children come to also.

There had been issues with the wifi that day as the whole village had an issue something else that comes with living in the country. I apologise for this but unfortunately out of my hands.

You should have messaged me direct to raise your concerns and I would have offered you a refund on the day and given you some other suggested sites to stay nearby.

Ik was blij met Claire was very welcoming. A nice mix of long term and weekend campers would were friendly. A very peaceful campsite I would highly recommend.

Ik was blij met Lovely peaceful site, good size pitches but they where on a slight slope.

Ik was niet blij met Unisex toilets but they are awaiting a new toilet block so we shall be returning to try that out
