Ik was blij met The location: only a few minutes walk into Charlbury for shops and pubs etc, but also country footpaths within a few minutes too.
Very small and quiet, nice views of the countryside and the night sky.

Ik was niet blij met The cost!!! Extortionate for a pitch in a field with one cold tap and a portaloo which didn't function properly because it wasn't level (and as a result was pretty disgusting).

Ik was blij met Convenient spot on the edge of Charlbury, close to good walks, peaceful site.

Ik was niet blij met A bit basic but we knew what to expect (improvements could be more than 1 toilet for example, or separate water and shower taps/areas)

Ik was blij met Nice village and quiet campsite. Portaloo was clean but basic. Shower was cold even on a hot day.

Ik was blij met Right in the heart of Charbury and yet lovely and quiet. Basic site but ideal for what we wanted

Ik was blij met It's quiet as it is just a field, with a shower in the open air, some running water and a dixie. Easy to find and get in.

Ik was blij met campsite was within walking distance of local supermarket yet still quiet and rural setting
you were free to pitch up where you liked

Ik was niet blij met unsupervised so campers rocked up at 1am and played music until 3 am
the mobile chemical toilet flushing mechanism was not working ( I will leave the reader to fill in the blanks there}
The solar powered shower was above the water tap in the open so you had to shower in the open in full view and while you were advised to bring a costume for this purpose showering with or without clothes is too intimate a proceedure to do in full view of everyone I have been on other campsites with solar powered showers but they had a screen.

Ik was blij met The view was lovely if you pitch your tent facing away from the houses.
Close to the village, walking distance to the shop.
Good directions how to find the field and information on local walks.
If you like a minimalist site this is for you, we found it amazing as it’s something we love.
Not many people there due to this which made it peaceful.

Ik was niet blij met Just the houses that are right beside the field but if you look non of them really have windows on that side of the house so not a massive issue.
