Can’t decide between town and country? There’s no need to at Stamford Meadows Glamping, as you’ve got absolutely the best of both worlds. Hidden away in a private woodland garden with walnut trees, this luxurious little Lincolnshire glamping site is only a 10-minute walk from the Georgian centre of Stamford. You'll be staying in fully furnished glamping accommodation – each pitch is splendidly crafted and fully insulated and heated. There is a private covered kitchen area next to each pitch equipped with a sink with running water and cooking equipment such as a two-ring gas stove and crockery, cutlery, pans and glasses. Each pitch has its own fridge and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet near to the unit (gowns, towels and shampoo are provided). Tuck yourself under the cosy duvet, crisp linen and throws. A table and chairs are provided for games nights or morning chats. Outside in the garden, there is a surprise too. A six-person wood-fired hot tub can be hired for your exclusive use. Although there are excellent rail links, there is space for one car on site. And when you do manage to tear yourselves away from this luxurious haven, Stamford has bags to offer, from a lovely old church to a bunch of pubs, takeaways and restaurants.

Gasten prijzen de luxueuze, goed uitgeruste en brandschone yurts. De glamping wordt als ontspannend ervaren en is perfect voor stellen, families en honden. Ik was blij met Loved the space we had, plenty of different areas to sit and just enjoy the time we had there. Kitchen had everything you could need. The yurt was super cosy with the fire aswell we loved it! Great hot tub too. Such a lovely setting would definitely recommend

Ik was blij met We absolutely loved our stay. The yurts are so beautifully furnished and everything is also very practical so you lack for nothing. So much space to sit outside in the sun and the little cookhouse is amazing too. Amelia greeted us and showed us everything even though we arrived quite late, thanks again for that. We wish we could have stayed longer because it was an absolute dream. Stamford is a wonderful place to visit and since my dad is from there we will always be back. Looking forward to our next glamping experience. Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Ik was blij met We absolutely loved every part of our stay at Stamford Meadows Glamping. The entire experience was peaceful, beautifully set up, and exactly as advertised — if not better! The yurt was spotless, cozy, and wonderfully decorated, especially for our anniversary. The pre-lit hot tub was ready when we arrived and made the evening extra special.

The host was incredibly thoughtful and helpful from the moment we booked — their attention to detail truly made us feel welcomed and cared for. The celebration package with balloons, flowers, banner, and custom cake was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Everything was calm, private, and beautifully maintained, from the garden to the honesty shop.

We left with unforgettable memories — a perfect glamping getaway!

Ik was blij met We loved everything about our stay! It felt so luxurious and everything had been thought of. The location was perfect, with the meadows directly behind the site and Stamford just a short walk away. It was the perfect place to stay with a 6 year old and a dog. Amelia was really friendly and helpful, she even let us check in early. We will definitely be back.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

Stamford (10 minutes’ walk) is the obvious place to start explorations of this charming corner of Lincolnshire, with its mellow-stone Georgian architecture. The market town of Uppingham (20 minutes’ drive), where you can potter around antique shops and try out a few local pubs, easily matches Stamford in the beauty stakes. There are some very grand houses hereabout too. Majestic Burghley House (10 minutes) is open (Sunday to Thursday) for guided tours of glamorous state apartments. You can also tour the park, designed by Capability Brown, where there’s a mirrored maze with water jets to amuse the kids. And talking of the kids – have they behaved? If so, then treat them to thrills and spills on inflatable obstacle courses or the adrenaline-thumping slides at Aqua Park Rutland (15 minutes). And if they’re keen to get out into nature, there are walks, watersports hire and lessons, and fishing opportunities on Rutland Water (15 minutes).
