Let Alan, Jo, their two sons and labrador welcome you into the lovely Lincolnshire countryside… the rural location and the splendid views at The Lazy Buzzards might convince you that you’re tucked firmly away in nature’s big backyard, which is true aside from the fact that the seaside resort of Skegness is only 10 minutes’ drive to the east (that’s a 15-minute pedal for those of you who have brought a pair of wheels along). Families, dogs, couples and any fans of a barbecue will find this family-run site particularly splendid. The nearest dog-friendly pub is only 20 minutes’ walk away and there are many other options for tasty fodder in the pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages, towns and cities, including Burgh le Marsh (half an hour’s walk), Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive), Spilsby (15 minutes), Chapel St Leonards (15 minutes), Alford (20 minutes), Horncastle (25 minutes), Louth (half an hour) and Lincoln (an hour). With the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds three miles away, pick up the pace with rambles through the valleys, woodlands or chalk pits, and then return to the spacious four-acre site for some thorough relaxation. The views over the Lincolnshire fields make for some spectacular barbecues, that’s for sure. When it’s time to see Skegness and all of its sights, simply join the A158 nearby. Once there, you might have a hard time deciding on between all the indoor and outdoor attractions, which include the Fantasy Island theme park, bowling alleys, a cinema, fairground, crazy golf and a beach. Perhaps pick up some fish and chips or ice cream and take a parade along the seafront and pier or nose around the shops on the high street too?

Goed onderhouden, rustige, gezinsvriendelijke camping met ruime, vlakke plekken. Geprezen om faciliteiten, vriendelijke eigenaren & prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Goede locatie aan de kust. Minpunten: geen wastafels in toiletgebouwen, geur septische tank, drassige velden bij nat weer.

Ik was niet blij met How close you are to the next pitch.
The people next to us where pitched with their seating area less than two meters from where we tried to sleep so I can honestly say it was the worst camping sleep we have ever had, it was gone 1 in the morning before they stopped 2 nights in a row.if you advertise a no noise after 10.30 you need to be doing checks, other sites do.

How it’s pitched doesn’t work, very little space between you and the next tent. Felt to enclosed and there was masses of pitch space left. So the need to pitch so close doesn’t seem needed.

Such ashame because over all we loved the location and how well it was maintained, the young lad was so helpful!

Ik was blij met Thank you Jo and Alan I had a wonderful time camping on your pitch I especially liked the water next to each pitch I think we got lucky with storm floris was not as bad as up north uk also the light on each standpipe helped visibility at night toilets showers and washing area was kept clean hope to return here next year when I return to uk from Thailand thank billy pitch number 9 🙏

Ik was blij met Great campsite & location.
Nice friendly owner.
Plenty of space, although wasn’t full.
Basic facilities but they were fine.

Ik was niet blij met No sinks to wash hands at the toilets other than the ones in the showers but not many toilets & showers for amount of pitches so if campers using the showers you could not wash hands after using the loo. Hand sanitizer provided but not great dispenser's so the handles & locks on the toilet doors will be a breeding ground with shared germs.!

Ik was blij met Absolutely love it.. just spent a week there. The toilet and showers always clean, the only little fault is the wooden toilet block could do with some rope glued in between the slats on the doors but overall would definitely go back.

Ik was blij met Lovely campsite, the bell tent had everything you could ask for in it, very spacious. Lovely to have the bench for outside, also the kettle was ideal and bbq included which we used with our friends.

A group of 20 of us attended this weekend with children and dogs. Also having the bell tent, the cottage and tent area accommodated all of our group.

The children enjoyed the open space, also having an area for the dogs to run around in was fantastic. We will definitely be back

Ik was blij met Piece and quietness and it allows pets on cite so you can allow your fur babies to join your holiday has electric pitches and drinking water at your camp spot 2 toilet and shower blocks such all together you have 5 toilets and 5 showers between the 1 blocks
