Ik was blij met: Amazing site. From start to finish, we received an email telling us everything a few days before arrival and all the ruels ect. On arrival just as it said are tent was ready and omg it was amazing so much better then we tought. We did let owner know we had arrived out of politeness she then came and found us asked if we needed anything ect she is fab. Toilets and showers was so clean well stocked with everything and nice and big so you felt like you had a nice shower. Beautiful walks all signed posted around. Found the whole site stuck to the no noise rule witch with young kids was great so we got a good sleep too. Had a little play area and a little treat shed what was well priced did not brake the bank every 5mins. Could not folt this site at all it such a beautiful spot really is a hidden gem

Ik was blij met: The site is beautifully maintained and surrounded by stunning countryside. Ellie was very welcoming and lovely, as were her two dogs! The showers and washing up area were superb and very clean. We'll be back 😀

Ik was blij met: Loved the whole place! It was so much better than we hoped - from the walk down the path away from the hustle & bustle into an almost secret secluded space. The tent itself was perfect with everything we needed. The beds were really comfy, there was a decent & well equipped kitchenette, a spacious bathroom & the log burner - what a welcome relief that brought over the chilly bank holiday weekend!

Ik was blij met: All round an excellent site. Small & in a lovely quiet rural location. Will certainly go back.

Ik was blij met: Lovely big pitches, nice and clean, very friendly, had a message the morning after arrival to ask if everything was ok. Good internet on O2 and Vodafone. Amazing dog walk and great walks from the campsite.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Lots of cow fields with a few bull signs. Not keen on walking through those with 2 dogs even through they were on a lead. Great that there was a fridge provided but a freezer section for ice blocks would have been good.

Van de manager: Thank you for your comments they are always gratefully received. Unfortunately the cow fields were probably there before the footpaths and Unfortunately thats where the cows live, there will not be any changes to this, so you may have to find an alternative route if you don't like walking through them.
If you had asked or gone into "the shed" there is a freezer with ice packs you can borrow or space to re freeze your own, or as you had an electric pitch you could have bought your own freezer?

Ik was niet zo blij met: The pitches near the field have a slight angle and are not flat.
Can be windy, but this is Mother Nature and nothing the host can do about it.

Ik was blij met: Luxurious safari tent with everything you could possibly need. Hidden setting as the name suggests. Comfy enough for the grandparents and plenty of the space for the grandkids to play, which they did the entire time.

Ik was blij met: Excellent host. Excellent site. They even arranged the weather for us.

Ik was blij met: All of it. Great walk from the site, peaceful, lovely owner and family that couldn't do enough for us; they even brought Halloween marshmallows and sticks over to us so our two kids could toast them over the open fire.
