How’s about a Herefordshire location right in between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can head out for scenic walks by day before settling into your own private hot tub for an evening soak? If that sounds like a rather splendid sort of break, make your way to Mike’s Meadow Glamping, a small-scale rural site about 10 minutes’ drive from Ledbury. This location is in between the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley AONBs, so you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to places to get out for a walk, a bike ride or other outdoor activities like canoeing or llama trekking. Attractions like Eastnor Castle and the historic streets of Hereford aren’t far off either for alternative days out. It’s up to you how you decide to fill your time, of course – but it’s good to know that whichever option you choose you can come back to a cosy and comfortable night in your hand-built wooden pod. Each one has heating and double glazing to keep them nice and warm in all weathers, plus a good collection of useful features including a TV, a wifi connection and a mini kitchen (with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker). The pod interiors have been designed with high quality in mind – and that approach continues in the outdoor space, where each pod has its own firepit, barbecue and outdoor seating as well as that gorgeous wood-fired hot tub. You can pick up barbecue supplies at the shops in Ledbury, and there’s a nice food pub about a mile and a half away if you’d rather eat out.

Deze camping biedt een luxe, comfortabele en goed uitgeruste ervaring met uitstekende faciliteiten, waaronder schone douches en een fijne hot tub. Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaren met persoonlijke touches. Afgelegen pods met prachtig uitzicht, gunstig gelegen. Kleine minpunten: parkeren is een stukje lopen en kinderbedden zijn klein. Kindvriendelijk en een echte aanrader, velen komen terug.

Ik was blij met They almost provide everything you need for camping.

The hosts are very nice and once we arrived (message them before 30mins arrival), they came out to welcome us and show us the way.

The pod is excatly what have showed on page. And there are fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, some snacks, cereal,etc in the share kitchen and mini bar has been provide with beers, alcohol, soft drinks and TV.

Toilet and shower rooms are really clean and water suppler is good (immediate warm water, good water pressure).

It's kids friendly place. they provide a box with toys for kids (but some are likely display toys such as chess board is provided but some are missing).

And even more, they have filled the hot tube's water and put the first round logs in the pit for us(paid £20 extra, they will heat the water for you as well, we didn't pay for that, it took us around 2 hours to heat to body temperature and a whole extra bag of logs to that)

As they mentioned at page, you just need your bedding things and clothes, then you can enjoy a wonderful view camping place.

Ik was niet blij met you can park outside the site only. you moved your things to walk a minite to your place. (I have 4 ppls, need serval rounds to move our stuffs)

Kids size mattress provided only. Each pods are space enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (below 130cm height)

Solar LED lights are being hanging around the trees but their programming a randow mode, sometimes it goes crazy flash.(in a bar as well)

Ik was blij met Booking the accommodation was very easy. The communication was awesome and always kept us updated on how to work things, rules and regulations etc. The area is lovely and really not far from things to do. We visited Ledbury, Hereford and went to Malvern hills. I asked the owners if they could add some balloons and banners for a birthday and they did this without a question. Everything is very well kept and the site is very clean, there was alot more facilities there than we had originally expected there to be. The little touches are lovely! Will definitely be back soon!

Which of the local Areas of Outstanding Beauty will you visit first? Heading east, you’ll get to the Malvern Hills AONB with a 10-minute drive – perhaps to see British Camp Hill Fort (15 minutes' drive) or climb Worcestershire Beacon (20 minutes). Once you’ve had enough of walking, perhaps a tour of the Morgan Motor Company will rest your legs a little. Looking west instead, the Wye Valley AONB is about 20 minutes’ drive away for more of those lovely scenic walks and activities. Ross-on-Wye (25 minutes) is a good hub to head for here, with canoe trips and canyoning outings for those who fancy something a little different. In among all those active outings you may also like to slow the pace a little with a wander around the gorgeous interiors and grounds of Eastnor Castle or Hellens (both 15 minutes), or some time in Hereford (25 minutes), visiting the cathedral, the Mappa Mundi exhibition and the Cider Museum.
