Ik was blij met We stayed in the Orchard as it was easier access to the toilet block for the kids, and closer to the river to launch our paddleboards.
Loved we could choose our pitch, launch from the site, have a fire pit in the evening, the pizza on site was awesome, owners and staff were friendly and welcoming.

Ik was niet blij met Some people mentioned paying £1 for shower, but honestly, the site is one of the cheaper ones we’ve stayed at, and 5 mins is long enough- plus quick queues for showers - if any!

Ik was blij met Location. It was right next to the river Wye.

Ik was niet blij met Lack of basic services for caravans having no chemical toilet disposal point.. Also there were very few showers for the amount to people on site. Also the wash basins were inadequate in that there was no hot water and you needed to press down on the tap to get any water out.
It’s definitely the worst site we’ve ever stayed on. We would’ve moved had it not been a bank holiday weekend.

Ik was blij met Location, lovely rural site on the River Wye. Space on site not cramped, staff friendly.

Ik was niet blij met Only 2 showers and 5 toilets for ladies and same for gents for a very large busy campsite, No hot water in hand washing basins and staff found it hard to keep toilet blocks clean. No chemical disposal for toilet tents or caravans although promotional video advertises suitable to caravans and campervans.

Ik was blij met The Orchard is beautiful, close to the river. Well stocked shop. Firepits on the ground.. just wonderful.

Ik was niet blij met The steep drop down from the site to the river is a bit of a challenge but you can walk down to the canoe hire people and launch off from there

Ik was blij met Fantastic river location
Brilliant staff
Showers and toilet were always clean and tidy
Shower were really powerful and warm
Pizza Saturdays were a delicious unexpected treat too.

Ik was blij met Great little campsite right on the River Wye with excellent access down to the river for canoes.
Lovely pitches amongst the orchard where we stayed as it was closest to the river but several other fields to camp in too, so lots of space.
Great little shop selling essentials and also beers/ciders and other drinks for sale to drink on the benches.
Friendly staff and the amenities were excellent.
Only a short walk to the pub, where they sell excellent pub grub.
Would definitely stay here again

Ik was blij met Great location by the river, and lovely camping under the trees. There was plenty of hot water for washing up and great showers. Ollie was really helpful will definitely stay again.

Ik was blij met Camping ground was nice, and had character with it's different nooks and crannies. The orchard is the busiest of the camping areas, and I was able to get a very comfortable spot. There was a friendly mix of people using the site. They provide cooked food on the weekend evenings, which was lovely and good value. Very peaceful at night, once it gets dark. There is an outdoor bar which was nice, with a good selection of drinks.

Ik was niet blij met It was impossible to use the shower without getting my bag or shoes wet. When camping small things like this make a big difference. There's nowhere to keep your stuff dry in the shower, and similarly at the wasfbasins, nowhere to put your towel or wash bag. One in three nights that I stayed the floor of one of the showers was filthy with no mop to self-clean. You have to pay to use the shower, which abruptly starts when you put your money in, and when your time is up. Very easy to run out of water while you're still soaped up, at which point if you remembered to bring a second coin you'll have to leave the shower in the nude to insert another coin. Then you can't turn it off, so you'll have to wait for your
Designated time to end before you can dry off and get dressed.
