West End Farm Campsite

Ik was blij met Very quiet and peaceful. Heard owls and saw long tailed tits and squirrels. Only one other on site. Nice walk down to the river. Did not use amenities but they looked fine.

Ik was blij met Very quiet and peaceful place. Pub quick easy walk away. Other walks around. Hard standing Pitch nice and level and tidy.

Ik was niet blij met No lights/ lights not working near toilet block so walking over in pitch black at night.
Toilets not very clean in the sense that the cubicles were full of grass and quite run down. Considering only 2 others on the site while we were thought they would be cleaner

Ik was niet blij met We have visited this site several times now. Please cut the grass properly, and get rid of the cuttings. The washing up facility, toilets and showers are very basic and full of grass, someone had swept a load of it up into a pile in the shower, but it wasn't cleared up the whole weekend we were there, it makes everything soaking wet and a mess, lots of people commented about it, and where was the cleaner? On the plus side, The Red Lion in the village is a lovely pub for food and drinks

Ik was blij met Nice quiet site, facilities were good and clean.

Ik was niet blij met It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I didn’t see an official from the site in my time there. Granted I was only there for one night but you usually have an interaction with someone on most sites. Maybe it was the time of year also. But there was quite a lot of rubbish lying around some pitches which was sad to see. The bin was overflowing so I guess that is why. One this is that there does not seem to be a gate or barrier to seal the site at night. But as it is in such a secluded place it probably doesn’t need it.

Ik was blij met Amazing location, close to a farm cafe (great breakfast) and pub. Lovely loop walk from ths site. Facilities are good.

Ik was blij met Great location, flat pitch and love the hedges between pitches.

Ik was niet blij met Would have preferred if the grass was shorter - lost pegs in the long grass and the time of year meant heavy dew and very wet feet for dogs and humans!!
Also a bit strange that the path to the the toilet block goes over the corner of the pitch closest to the block.
