The T Barn

Ik was blij met: The site is beautiful and the tents are lovely. We had everything we needed and it was so comfortable. Eloise popped by to say hello and was super welcoming. We enjoyed sitting round the fire at our own fire pit and the set-up including screens between each tent made it really private. Compost loos were spotlessly clean, as were the showers - they were warm, clean and good water pressure - perfect shower! There’s also a communal dining shelter and a guide to the local area. Cars are kept in the top corner of the site which added to the peace and quiet. The local area is great - you feel really like you’re immersed in the countryside but after a very short drive out of the fields, you can get to Cirencester in 10 mins and lots of fab Cotswold pubs and villages. We would recommend The Stump for pizzas (10 mins away) and The Wheatsheaf in Northleach (15 mins). We visited Stow, Burford, Bibury and Lechlade, plus Kelmscott Manor (William Morris home) and Chedworth Roman Villa (National Trust), so there’s plenty to do nearby. We loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Ik was blij met: Excellent facilities including covered area. Hot water available. Fire pits and wood provided. Separate farm tour was informative and good value for money.

Ik was blij met: Nice spot, good access to a lovely pub, friendly owner.

Ik was niet zo blij met: We had a group on site which spoilt the peace - think it would be worth adding reminders on site that playing music from phones, loud discussion after 11pm, use of drones and parking cars next to tents is not permitted (of the limited rules in place, every one was broken). We also found the lack of a handbasin apart from one single one outside the showers was disappointing for the money which is being charged. Doubt the long drop toilets would be to everyone’s taste either! Also if you’re going to cut the grass, suggest sections of the site are done at a time as there was wet cut grass literally everywhere!

Ik was blij met: Absolutely amazing campsite! Ability to have fires, the shower facilities were excellent, and there was a large open space for cooking and seating. Really well thought out and perfect for families or couples

Ik was blij met: It’s a brilliant off grid site. We stayed in a lovely, well equipped bell tent.

Ik was niet zo blij met: While we stayed they’ve put up some fencing very close to the tents to keep the cows out, which seems to change the ambience of the place a little.

Ik was blij met: It was quiet and lovely, I also liked the fact that there was no phone signal. The surrounding area is beautiful as well.
