Ik was blij met: Loved the hard standing well maintained pitch with z grass area and picnic bench with parasol. Site is situated behind a pub , food there was delicious and friendly people. Very secure , and Ken moon the harris hawk .

Ik was blij met: Fabulous stopover. Immaculate large pitches. Everything was really well kept. Pub also lovely. Landlady and staff were super too. Access to toilets 24/7. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

Ik was blij met: Great little site. Brilliant pub with friendly locals also another pub 3 minutes walk away if you want a meal on the days the site pub doesn't serve meals (Monday and Tuesdays when we were there). The access is a bit tight and not for the faint hearted if you have a large outfit but as the picture will prove it can be accomplished safely with an 8ft wide Twin axle pulled by a BMW X5. I would certainly use again if travelling anywhere near this area in future.

Ik was blij met: Beautiful little spot in an lovely town. We stayed the night before going to download festival at donington park the following day. Well maintained pitch attached to a friendly and warm pub. I have no doubt we will be back!

Ik was blij met: Small clean site. Easy access to toilets which were kept really clean. We booked a table at the pub and Sue contacted us for our food order in advance. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly. All in all a lovely nights stay.

Ik was blij met: Friendly owners, good pitch drain, 16 amp hookup. Quiet site.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Water point was shared with a riding stable adjoining the caravan site with swapping of hoses from a single water point, which also was a piped connection to the Elsan disposal area. The hygiene side of swapping pipe connections after using the Elsan point and also opening and closing the entry gate needs urgent attention. The entry and exit from road to site is precarious as the turn in and out is acute. Exiting when vehicles are parked above and below the opening restricts vision particularly when in a car. |Could do with mirrors opposite the exit for both up and down the road. to go back to close the entry/exit gate requires stopping somewhere up or down the road which is difficult as roadside parking is restricted.

Van de manager: Hardly any effort to swap a hose! Not sure what your point is about hygiene? There is a separate hose for the Elsan point and a separate one for drinking water - nothing unhygienic there? The gate doesn’t require any “urgent attention “at all. That was installed as an extra security measure ( double gated). With regards to to the site having a precarious entrance when we send you our welcome letter after making your booking one of the points we make is that the “entrance is a little tight and tricky” therefore if that is something that might be of concern to you do not book! As for opening and closing the gate your comment quite frankly is pathetic!

Ik was blij met: Nice private small site only 5 pitches. Nice meal very reasonable prices . For us was a good stopover on our way back up home from New Forrest David and Jeanette West Yorkshire

Ik was niet zo blij met: Having to pre order meal although wasn’t too much of an issue understood principle on waste.

Ik was blij met: Stayed Saturday night, lovely friendly little pub, food looked lovely,we will eat there next time. Pitch was clean and nice and flat ,no road noise, we will definitely stay again.
