Ik was blij met Sehr schöne Gegend die zum Spazieren gehen, Mountainbike oder einfach zum Entspannen mit toller Aussicht einlädt,

Ik was niet blij met Man bekommt das Gefühl vermittelt nur zum Bezahlen gut zu sein… die Dusche war nicht zu gebrauchen, die Toiletten nicht sauber und beim Empfang war stundenlang niemand und auch telefonisch nicht zu erreichen (Vielleicht sind die Bauern etwas überfordert mit ihren täglichen Aufgaben)

Ik was blij met Honestly!!! Love this place ❤️ so much !!! The only thing I don't like is leaving 🥰 The hardest working most beautiful family run this working farm and you have an incredible view .What more could we ask x

Ik was blij met Fabulous location/views close to Castleton with excellent walks. Basic farm shower/toilet/wash up facilities which serve a purpose. We parked to the left hand side near wall overlooking fields/sheep - fairly level no ramps needed. Needed water for van so great to be able to replenish. Jacket Potato van (Sat eve) good food/value @ £5.50 each.

Ik was niet blij met Despite the massive empty space head of our van, people arriving pitched either side right next to us (only 2 m away) + parked hire van to carry all their gear diagonally in front of us. They brought what seemed like half a tree to light a fire pit so had concerns re embers coming our way. Thankfully the rain soon poured down so our concern didn’t last too long.

Not the site’s fault but a little bit more consideration from fellow campers wouldn’t go amiss on none-marked out sites like this. Would still return though - just probably not on a Saturday night.

Ik was blij met Easy access campsite with a massive open field to pitchup in. Easy check-in process with a simple knock at the door. Male and Female shower available which was great. Toilets clean also. 5 minute drive or 45 minute walk into Castleton make it the perfect location.

Ik was blij met Peaceful location, clean and well kept toilets block and sink area. Suitable to have a BBQ with skip for rubbish on site.

Ik was blij met This was an overnight stop on the way north. Beautiful location, stunning scenery. Trees around the edge of the field gave some welcome shade from the 32° heat! Perfect location for walking. Fields around campsite full of sheep, so if you don't like drifting off to sleep with noise of bleating sheep and lambs probably not for you, personally I loved it. Facilities were nice. £1 for 3 min shower, nice hot water.
I was concerned when we arrived as there were several groups of DoE youths. Needn't have worried they were extremely well behaved, and at 10 pm all was quiet.
I would certainly use this site again.

Ik was niet blij met Water in the shower didn't drain away very well, so standing in water. But, after the hottest day of the year, I can't say I minded too much.

Ik was blij met Lovely site and great location for walking. Had all the basics you need. Toilets, shower etc clean. Great value.

Ik was blij met Great back to basics on a working farm, flat field ideal for tents and the price is spot on. Close to Mam Tor and great walking loop down to Castleton and back.
If you are a glamper this place is not for you. We will be going back.
I like being able to park next to the tent and use it to shelter from the wind as we were in the middle of the field.
