Stanley Lodge Farm

Ik was blij met Everything; it was a beautiful, clean, quiet field to stay in with a convenient portaloo to use if needed. I enjoyed myself so much I invited a friend to come and stay the next evening and we sat with a fire watching the sunset from outside our tent, what more could you want?

Ik was niet blij met NOTHING; I myself struggled to find the site initially. If you head down the public bridle path the field is clearly marked, it’s just fusing that bridle path that I struggled with personally. I called the owner who quickly directed me to the correct place so no issues at all

Ik was blij met Loved that it was small, quiet (except for some other campers, but I like dead silence), basic amenities and no kids.
Got one night to myself which was absolute perfection.
Loads of pretty places to walk and stunning places to visit nearby in the car.
Lovely watching the horses playing in the morning and so many birds.

Ik was blij met Stayed for two nights and we were the only ones on the field. The spot was easy to find and up on the hills so was very peaceful and the sunset views were gorgeous. The portaloo was also very clean, with paper and antibac gel provided.

Ik was niet blij met The field is quite bumpy in patches, so was a little hard to find a good spot to pitch up, but as we were the only ones this was fine.

Ik was blij met Great space, only us and one other tent when we stayed so very peaceful and quiet, toilet was spotless and had hand sanitiser which was great. Had a lovely time

Ik was niet blij met Would be helpful if there was a sign for the bottom of the road, there are two roads coming off Trot ln, one goes to a farm Stanley moor farm and the other has a no through road sign, that’s the one you’ll need! We struggled to find it and had no service in the area so took a bit of driving around!

Ik was blij met Loved the atmosphere - quiet, basic, farm animals around, not much going on. Nice walk through fields and to cressbrook dale. Portaloo was clean. Quick drive to cafe in the morning for proper coffee. Tap for water on site. Good communication from host.

Ik was blij met Me and my friends enjoyed the views and the quiet little plot of land. Perfect amount of space, portable toilet on site as-well. Good value for money and easy to find!

Ik was niet blij met There’s nothing really to dislike but if i had to say one thing is that there’s nothing really in walking distance around the area but that’s nothing to do with the owners of the campsite.

Ik was blij met The location was amazing, beautiful views and scenery, and peaceful countryside. The camping field was very nice and well kept.

Ik was blij met Great little campsite, very small which I liked. Only 4 tents in total and was very peaceful. You can really enjoy a peaceful night here listening to nature and watching cars in the distance.

Ik was niet blij met Site is a bit lumpy in places but if you shift around you can get comfy.
