Mi è piaciuto This site is good for one night stop overs but not longer. It’s small and basic and a little steep in price comparison to other sites of a similar profile. There is one toilet with a shower inside, it was clean but if it’s occupied and you need the loo - you’re in for a wait. It would have been nice to be greeted by someone on arrival but I appreciate we checked in at 8pm. The forest surroundings and nice and the location for Ayr is good!

Mi è piaciuto Very clean, good campsite facilities - well maintained! Lovely site, picturesque. Checkin was very organised and easy to find the pitch. Pitches were level.

Non mi è piaciuto Extra large pitches near the river were large in size, but extremely close together. Felt cramped and hemmed in. Screaming baby in close proximity was hell on earth. I think larger families with multiple kids need bigger pitches with more space. Or put the smaller groupers of campers in a different part of the field
