Mi è piaciuto The peace and quiet, the view and the sunset (when the weather allows). The toilets and showers are excellent and the pot wash area is great also. There are picnic tables available for when the weather is good. We have stayed 3 times this year, and have enjoyed each stay. This is a bit more than a basic pitch because a lot of care and attention has been paid to making the facilities attractive on the inside. We didn't speak to the owner this time but have had lovely conversation with her before.

Mi è piaciuto 😀

Non mi è piaciuto The reception was a long way from the pitch. When is states that they are around the main camp site it feels a bit like being in a layby

Mi è piaciuto Able to choose pitch on arrival, lovely views , benches to sit if needed. We met and spoke to some lovely people. The check in is a bit hit and miss but the guy was okay, need to get token from him if you want to shower.

Mi è piaciuto The friendly owners who gave clear information. The atmosphere and the other campers. This is a back to basic site and that makes it special We will put this on our list to visit again, it is only an hour from us

Mi è piaciuto The owner was great, friendly and knew to expect us. His English is excellent. We were early season so the site was quiet and the pop up bar was not open. But we did see people around the bbq and picnic area. We heard people obviously enjoying the pool which was nice to hear. When we needed to fill our fresh water there was no one in the reception but I was spotted looking lost and soon enough he came along on his bicycle to turn the water on. The washing machine worked well, 6 euros including detergent which smelt good. Didn't use the dryer. Very clean facilities and the site was obviously well cared for and loved. We will definitely visit again Thank you

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing unless you include the misty damp morning 😀

Mi è piaciuto This is a fabulous little place, we stayed at the beginning of our holiday and then returned for 2 night on our way home. The field is attached to the owners garden and has a large meadow to look out on. This was cut back during our stay. Anne, the owner had a chat with us each day and Billy was lovely, she let us in on our first visit and made sure we knew where everything was, we had a few chats with her during our stays. Watching the swallows across the meadow was a treat. There are 2 showers, with lots of hot water to go round, a space to wash up or hand wash clothes.

Dal gestore: Thank you for your kind review. I enjoyed meeting you as well and talking about the Normandy Landings and what happened around Auberville. Sorry about the farmer turning up unannounced to cut the hay and your scramble to get your awning out of the way ! Thank goodness you don't suffer from hay fever. All the best, Anne & Billie

Mi è piaciuto Good size pitch, friendly staff on check in and shared a laugh when we kept mis-reading the code for the barrier. It is possible to order bread and croissant, there was also a pizza van the night we were there, we didn't but lots of other people did.

Mi è piaciuto Everything. The site is nicely presented. The utility area has everything needed including washing up liquid. There are picnic tables with parasols But the very best part is the very pleasant surprise you get when you go to the toilets and the shower. The owner happily spent time chatting to us when we were in the kitchen area It was also great that 2 vans turned up after 7 p.m without a booking and there was no problem for them to pitch up. We will be back on a regular basis

Mi è piaciuto Each pitch has its own picnic table and fire pit, there seemed to be lots of space between pitches but as we were the only ones there it was hard to tell. The owner was lovely, she chatted with us for a while. The facilities were clean. There is even a shepherds hut that can be hired

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing on this visit
