Mi è piaciuto Exactly as advertised - limited facilities (electric and water), but excellently close to the Battle of Britain museum and memorial and very close to the Channel Tunnel - we used it as a “night before” and it worked really well, we all loved exploring the site and history. We would use this site again!

Non mi è piaciuto The only downside for us really was the gate getting in - we knew it would be tight from other reviews so were prepared - but yes, it’s tight! I think knowing you just have to block traffic while the gate opens is helpful, there doesn’t seem to be a better direction, both make it a squeeze. Totally doable (though our van is 6m, there was a larger van that arrived at the same time as us), you just have to be straight on to it. This would not deter us staying again, just worth going in prepared!

Mi è piaciuto The location - both in beauty and closeness to Tintagel was perfect and the listing is exactly as advertised - this is a basic field, porta potty and water available but nothing else - as long as you know that nothing else matters! The plots are not level from about midfield up, so bare that in mind and bring blocks! The owner was also super nice and helpful on suggestions in the surrounding area.

Mi è piaciuto Quiet with large pitches and clean, nee, facilities. Right on the bike trail, easy to find and good roads to get in. They also have a drive over grey water, which we found hard to find at some places.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful scenery, pitches were well spaced, facilities block was older (being replaced) but totally fine and the playground and pool were excellent. Access to the stony beach was such a bonus and beautiful! The road in is a little narrow but we knew that, came at the posted times and had zero issues.

Non mi è piaciuto The only improvement really would be the drive over drain for grey water disposal- it was so tight and rough (not level, big rocks and divots) that we couldn’t actually get in there to drop our grey water (and we only had a 6m van). The toilet block is being replaced which would be lovely and I think included more/better laundry which would help a choke point we encountered.

We only have a very small number of customers each year, usually one or two, who require facilities to empty onboard waste tanks. For most guests, the grey waste water connection provided on every pitch is sufficient, provided they have the appropriate waste pipe to connect directly to it. We are also pleased to confirm that the laundry facilities are scheduled for an upgrade. While the service will no longer be free of charge, the improvements will make the facilities much easier and more convenient for guests to access and use. Mi è piaciuto Loved the quiet setting, big pitches with trees and privacy, kids adored feeding goats, water taps available easily, garbage and recycling right at each pitch, and close to Wookey Hole and other locations. Would love to come back here sometime!

Non mi è piaciuto A minor thing but there was no obvious place for drive over drain or hoses for grey water disposal that we could find - if you had a caravan with tank you could put it in the toilet disposal - dishwashing sinks went into the bushes (so we took our grey water with us).

Mi è piaciuto Great site, quiet, clean and a great location. Right on the bikeway too, we biked into Caernarfon (10 minutes) and also to the Inigo Jones Slateworks (30 minutes).

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing really - though check your spam folder for an email from the owner before arriving - it gives great information, we just didn’t discover it until we were leaving!
