Mi è piaciuto Friendly reception. The lake. The facilities l. The pitches. Close to main motorway (10km). Clean. Tidy. Peaceful.

Mi è piaciuto Neat. Tidy. Cosy campsite. New shower blocks. Pub nearby (5 min walk) has great food. Close proximity to some lovely beaches.

Non mi è piaciuto Confusion around tents. Do they or don’t they allow tents? Pictures on Pitch Up show tents. This needs to be made crystal clear.

Mi è piaciuto The downs. The hot showers. The basic but excellent facilities. The walk straight out the campsite down to the sea. The silence at night. Stud Farm is a stunner!

Non mi è piaciuto Ground a tad tough to camp on after a hot dry summer, but that couldn’t be helped.

Dal gestore: thank you for your feedback. everyone loves the views of the Downs and the Sea from this site, i like to think that people do come for the peace and quiet which i know many people appreciate, which is why there is a site rule that there is no music allowed after 9pm. yes the ground is a bit tough in places, but if tent pegs are in the ground at 45 degrees which is usually 90 degrees to the guide rope/line then it is a lot easier to get your pegs in with good hold. many thanks
