Mi è piaciuto Amazing surroundings, excellent facilities. Wonderful to be able to camp in one of the orchards. The shade from the trees during this hot weather was most welcome. The food at the restaurant is excellent and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Another wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto This campsite is in a great location easy to get to numerous places, including beaches. It has wonderful views and is in an idyllic setting. The camping field is very spacious and you can set up where you like and have plenty of room Excellent facilities, exactly what you would expect from an eco friendly site. Compost toilets,showers and a couple of sinks for washing/cleaning you teeth. It also has the added benefits of being able to use the outdoor kitchen area, which has fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, electric hotplate and sink/ draining board and bbq. Another added benefit is the cider barn bar open on Friday and Saturday evenings, with live music Fridays. Food is served by various vendors on Friday and Saturdays too. Basement 17 tacos were there when we stayed and the food looked very good and had a queue for most of the evening, which is a good sign and a must to try next time. We had a wonderful stay during the very hot week in May, so it was great to have the showers. We never had to queue for them. We will definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches in either the orchard or the meadow with outstanding views. Excellent toilet and shower facilities, which were extremely clean. Wonderful how the old pigscot has been made into the toilet and shower blocks. Great idea adapting old barrels into washbasins. Nice touch with a couple of mirrors and hooks in the showers and near the washbasin. There is also a washing up area at the side of the toilet and shower block, with plenty of lighting. A visit or two to the restaurant is a must. It serves excellent food, good size portions and reasonably priced too. There was also an amazing choice for gluten free diners, as someone having to eat a gluten free diet, this was such a treat. Even the roast dinner I could have yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. Also, I have to mention the exceptionally good cider with a vast selection, which you can enjoy in the restaurant with your meal or purchased in the cider shop from bottles to 20 litres, at a great price. Finally, all the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We fully recommend this campsite and cannot wait to return.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly staff, setting of the campsite with beautiful views. The facilities, toilets, showers and washing up area were all of a good standard and kept lovely and clean. It was great to have the animals onsite, horses, peacocks, miniature goats, pony and alpacas. The cafe and lounge area were a bonus. An excellent campsite all round.
