Mi è piaciuto Individual hedged pitches. Nice facilities. Hook up and water supply was good.

Non mi è piaciuto We were charged £5 each per visitor that came for a few hours. We met at the site for a 30 year reunion, before going to the local pub. No facilities were used by them. Disappointing and we weren’t informed prior to our arrival despite me writing it on the booking

Dal gestore: Hi David - thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed about the visitor fee, but this is standard practice on most campsites for health and safety reasons, and because our facilities are for the use of paying guests only. You may missed seeing this in advance, but it is clearly explained in the T&Cs, to which your booking was subject. I am copying the relevant section from your booking confirmation here: Visitors Visitors must leave the premises by 9 p.m. Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee. You had booked for one night, and invited several friends to join you for the afternoon. You may not recognise this as such, but all used our facilities as they drove onto our site, parked on our grass, and used our water, electricity, seating etc. This aside, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Kind regards, Ali & Neil

Mi è piaciuto Friendly hosts on arrival. Hardstanding pitches were well designed. Wide open location with walks around the lake. The shower cubicle was modern. Gated with entry code so felt secure.

Non mi è piaciuto Having to pay £5 per 24 hours for the key to the only shower on site. No convenient bins around the location.

Mi è piaciuto Facilities were immaculately clean and modern. The ‘shop’ was special! Everything was considered and catered for. Lots of great things for families to do.

Non mi è piaciuto Campervan pitches were close to each other and on the lower tier, the electric hook up was a long way away. Thankfully a cable was supplied but it did then trail along the grass for others to trip over.
