Mi è piaciuto Well maintained and laid out site. Very friendly and helpful check in staff. Nice spacious hardstanding pitches. Lovely walk along the canal. Very good price for the unserviced pitches. Toilets and showers lovely and clean. After being on the road for a couple of weeks and having to press a button for 8 seconds of tepid water, it was a real treat to come here and adjust the water temperature and flow to exactly how you like it. I felt like an adult!! 😁

Non mi è piaciuto Limited number of toilets and showers for size of site. Separate toilets and showers would help.

Mi è piaciuto If you like walking this place is epic. Good level hard standing pitches at the top of the field with great views. Easy relaxed check in. The site was very quiet and the weather was very kind so we booked more nights, initially booked 2 nights and ended up staying for 5!

Non mi è piaciuto Toilet and shower blocks although very new and clean were cold and the water temperature was not very high. Doors had begun to swell making them hard to close. Elsan point is terrible and unhygienic. Dustbin and recycling area untidy and no clear signage. We tried to contact the owners and had no response.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed in the sloping (area 9) field that has a breath taking view over Rutland Water. Toilet and shower block is the best we have ever seen in the UK. It's like walking into a spa! 😄 Walking along the path around the reservoir was very pleasant. Short drive to the local Parkrun. Warden on arrival was very helpful and gave good advice.

Non mi è piaciuto Long walk to the single toilet/shower block. Washing up areas, been designed by someone who has never actually used one. Although the toilet/shower block is absolutely fantastic this is a really big campsite and it will never cope when the site gets busy.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic toilet and shower block on the norh field. Great location for walking on the beach and heaths. Dunwich Heath was still closed after the fire but this made us explore the other beautiful heath areas instead. Club house 12 Lost Churches was ok but a bit pricey. The warden was very friendly and helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto The fee charged for dogs is way too expensive. Shady uneven muddy pitches weren't great.

Mi è piaciuto Well cut grass field with nice walks from the rear of the campsite. The fishing ponds are nice to walk around.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets (the 2 that are at the back of the camping field) are bit of a let down.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly welcome from the staff. Given plenty of opportunity to choose a pitch that we liked. Site was well kept and clean. Lovely location with good walks, train and bus stops near by. Pubs and restaurants nearby.

Non mi è piaciuto Sloping pitches even using large chocks. We were fine as site was quite but there wouldn't be enough showers and toilets when the site got even slightly busier. Road noise.

Non mi è piaciuto Sloping grass campsite with mud tracks. Advised to try to get towards the top of the campsite to pitch but we were unable to due to wheel spinning on grass. When we attempted to leave a local saw us wheel spinning to get up the slope and advised they had seen others struggling. Advised to roll to bottom of hill and take run up at a very muddy rutted track that runs around the outside of the site, we just made it! If you are going to keep a campsite open all year round you need to make sure vehicles can get on and off the site. 2 toilets, 1 shower (not working). £10 per night for EHU!! Scruffy site and surroundings. Over priced.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely clean and tidy campsite with good toilet and shower facilities. We had our pick of the hard standing areas as the campsite was empty (no horse racing on so very quiet). EHU, water, recycling and waste disposal all very well maintained and accessible. The showers were lovely and clean and had loads of high pressure hot water. We walked from the campsite into Fakenham, part of the walk takes you alongside the river Wensum which is lovely. We will be returning to visit the campsite again when they have horse racing on.

Mi è piaciuto Second visit for us. Good basic site with clean (not smelly) composting toilets. Location good for catching light railway into Wells in the summer months. We drove to Holkham Hall for Parkrun on Saturday morning from this campsite.

Non mi è piaciuto There had been a lot of rain so us and others were wheel spinning on the grass.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet site, fantastic if you like horses. Super helpful owners (Karl and Sharon) saved our holiday. On the drive to the campsite we unfortunately hit a pigeon which smashed one of our motor home's headlights. We were booked to travel to Europe the next day so this could have been disastrous! Karl put us in touch with a local garage that look after his horses boxes and they got the problem sorted within hours, without this local contact I doubt we would have been able to get the issue sorted so quickly.

Non mi è piaciuto The track leading to the site is a bit rough. There had been a lot of rain and it was flooded making it difficult to see the lumps and bumps, drive slowly!!
