Mi è piaciuto Really loved the peaceful nature of the campsite with only a few other people booked at the same time. The bar on site was lovely and staff were all really friendly. Pitches were relatively flat considering its quite hilly, helped by pitch size being unlimited and having the pick of a large field. Just a note, there is a lot of road noise day & night and on flight path for east Midlands airport and a nearby helipad - this suited us and gave great evening entertainment but might be worth considering for others. (Not much can be done about this though)! Perfect site for a one night stop over!

Non mi è piaciuto Long walk to toilets and these were limited use during the day due to wine estate visitors also using. Feel like a little more information about where water/bins/toilets, as this was not obvious until we used the bar and walked around exploring! Just a little info page or something would be great.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely stunning site, very well maintained. Staff were really friendly upon arrival and during our stay. The toilet block... wow! Like a 5* hotel absolutely stunning and with hair dryers in the women's toilets/shower room too. I will be coming back soon! Just had a really relaxing and fun weekend with the kids. Thank you!

Non mi è piaciuto I just didnt personally like the distance to the wash room which includes washing up area. Was difficult with two young kids but others might not find this a challenge.

Mi è piaciuto Really friendly staff/owners, easy to contact via a WhatsApp QR code nothing was an issue always happy to help. Hired a fire pit on the second night all items could be purchased in 24/7 trust shop on site which accepted card or cash payments! Including the marshmallows! The site was really clean and spacious, toilet block was immaculate and warm! The kids play area was brilliant for both my 8 and 4 year old boys and kept them entertained for hours as well as a football area with a goal. A must stay site for families. A really lovely stay and we will be returning! Thank you

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely loved staying at pine cones camp site for a short weekend break. We arrived on the Friday night, it was after work dash to the campsite so we were already pretty hungry and cold, when we arrived we were amazed by the security with barriers with codes and even the toilets! The woman (I forgot her name) was lovely and explained where we would be and everything the campsite has to offer. We had to set up in the dark, we soon realised why it was called pine cones hehe!! There was a light on the electricity hook up which helped with a bit of light. The campsite itself was quiet. There was also a fish and chip van on the Friday night on site! In the morning I went to check out the toilet blocks, omg!!!! Amazing, the best toilets I have used on a campsite. They were always shut so that minimised the chance of creepy crawlies coming in to share a shower and they were clean, and the most important warm with heated towel rails which is fab for wet towels whilst you finish getting ready!!! Think this actually was my favourite part of the campsite!! Overall lovely stay!

Non mi è piaciuto I have just marked it down a little due to the road noise, the pitch we were on was quite close to the edge so was quite loud. However I soon got used to it but I am pretty good at switching off. I know it can't be helped and I think they have plans of planting more trees in place. The pine cones were a bit annoying under foot as we set up in the dark and didn't realise they were there until it was too late, but again that's our fault and not a fault of the campsite. Dislike I was only there for two nights!! Deffo coming back!
