Mi è piaciuto It’s clear from the moment you arrive that the owners of this site have gone above and beyond to make your experience a special one. Issac showed us everything we needed and was so kind to give us more information on places we hoped to visit. The bell tent we stayed in was stunning, filled with homely touches and plenty of space. The welcome basket was such a pleasant touch and greatly appreciated. You have your own private shower and toilet which are kept perfectly clean with towels provided. The site itself is a haven. If you love the sounds of nature whilst having the comforts of glamming then this site really is for you. The owners have done so much to enhance the biodiversity, there are floral areas for bees, no mow sections to increase butterflies and plenty of birds to see. We visited Nash point, took a coastal walk to Monkton Beach and visited the town of Cowbridge which where all memorable and recommended by Hannah and Patrick. If you do find yourself forgetting anything they have kindly set up a shed shop with any extras you may need. Overall it was a blissful weekend we will never forget and we will be back! Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed as a non electric camp pitch. Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the staff at reception which seems to be manned for most of the day. There is a safety barrier for exit and entry which gives extra protection and helps you to feel safe. The non electric campsite had very level pitches which made set up easy and faster than we have had in the past! it also made setting the campfire up easier and safer. We were sent a map and booking details when we booked which made it really easy to get to know the surrounding area. We were situated very close to the wood which gave us options on walking. Its a beautiful wooded area with multiple species of trees which attract a varied amount of wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful hawk each morning and at night we could hear two Tawny Owls which made the stay that extra bit special. The facilities seemed new which was lovely as they were always kept so clean and tidy. The toilet block included showers and washing up facilities. There are many pubs near by and lovely walking spots, we were lucky enough to stumble upon an old railway which was still in use by steam trains. All in all we had a fantastic weekend even when it became a bit wet and rainy! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Non mi è piaciuto The toilet block was located a long distance from the non electric tent pitch site. It would be great if some portable toilets could be included in that area to give people the option as it is a steep hill.
