Non mi è piaciuto Site is tired and scruffy in places. We stayed on the touring pitches and showers are very dated. Not really a site for campervans. It’s just a square in the middle of the statics.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely cracking site. All staff are very friendly. The bus bar is a great addition and the live music was brilliant (the singer on the Friday night was absolutely amazing!). Great location. We walked into Cheddar a few times. Pitch size was great even though it was pretty much full for the BH weekend, and no issues with saving a pitch next to us for daughter’s arrival the next day. The food at the breakfast van was delicious. Would definitely recommend and we would return for sure! The showers were fab, great pressure, hot, and take as long as you like. Non mi è piaciuto A bit of a design fault having showers opposite toilets which meant the floor gets very dirty from wet feet. Kind of thought showers should have been in their own bit, but when toilets were cleaned they did a great job and were spotless (for a while)

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly welcome on arrival. In fact all staff were great! This is honestly one of the best sites we’ve stayed at and we were lucky enough to get a partial sea view. The site is beautiful, set on different levels in the valley. Lovely big pitches. The facilities are excellent. Lovely hot showers, very clean and modern. Great little shop in reception. Fire pits and logs available. Fantastic coastal walks directly from site. Beautiful pub next door. Bus stop near the entrance, busses run every hour. Food options available most nights. We only tried the pizza night as we bbq’d but the pizza was delicious! Nice little bar on site with a screen where you can watch the footy. We liked it so much we booked an extra night. We will definitely return. We don’t have kids but the play park for children also looked great!

Mi è piaciuto Very spacious pitch. Site is lovely and quiet, so relaxing. Beautifully landscaped and very pretty. People running site are friendly and very helpful. Great location. A short walk out the back of the site, through another site to get to village. A quirky rum bar in village open from 7. Nice roof top bars and restaurants. Beautiful beach. Fantastic coastal walks.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing, although the toilets at camper/tent end could do with a good refresh. It did say under renovation so good that their on it 😀

Mi è piaciuto Very spacious pitches. Great location. Only a short walk 5-10 mins, to Croyde village, a few shops and 2 lovely pubs serving food. Beach a short walk (about 15 mins). Toilets could do with a bit of updating, but they’re very clean. The fish and chip shop at the entrance doesn’t look much from the outside but genuinely THE BEST fish & chips we’ve ever had….absolutely delicious!! Great coastal walks. Just stunning as you’d expect 😀

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing. Exactly as expected (although there are not sea views from site as picture on ad suggests. The sun set however was amazing!!!

Mi è piaciuto Had a lake view pitch. Was beautiful with the sun shining. Brightlingsea is a great little town and has stunning walks nearby, this site is in a great location. Nice level pitches. Lots of space.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets/shower block smell lovely and fresh and the cleaner keeps them clean and tidy, but they Coukd do with a bit of an upgrade - a couple of broken taps. I think you have to pay for Wi-Fi but I couldn’t figure it out.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastically clean site. Cannot fault it. Super toilet and shower facilities. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. Thank you! Pitch was a good size, mix of gravel and grass. We got camper and large awning on the gravel. Good walks from site and the pub at the end of the road is welcoming, nice decor, good food choice. Nearest shop is about a mile away so best to ensure you stock up while you’re out.

Non mi è piaciuto Not really disliked, but just to mention. Loo blocks are quite a long way away if you are on other side of camp, and not much light on the walk over if it’s dark. Not a great selection of food options on the food truck. We opted for a bbq tho. I do think the cost is a little overpriced compared to other sites we’ve been to, but we did choose to pay it so cannot really grumble too much 😊

Mi è piaciuto Our 5th visit to this site. We love it! Great to see more fields opened up, means you have even more space. Such a chilled atmosphere, the owners are absolutely great! Additional showers/ toilets/washing up facilities at top field are great. Amazing walks from the site. We will deffo be back again.

Mi è piaciuto This site is amazing in that, the staff are over and above friendly, the site is immaculate (I have never seen a toilet and shower block so clean). Nice touch offering pastries etc in morning and a nice games room with ping pong and pool tables. A bit out of the way to walk anywhere.

Mi è piaciuto Great size pitch. Fantastic grounds. Very pretty flowers and well kept throughout. Nice touch with the fishing lakes. Nice quiet site which has seasonal residents. Pool is a great addition too but we did not use due to weather. Shower and toilet blocks are clean but could do with an upgrade. Staff very helpful and friendly. Helped us out when we needed it, thank you very much!

Non mi è piaciuto The pizza from the on-site takeaway. £10 for a Tesco value pizza. Very disappointing. Nothing else tho, spot on.

Mi è piaciuto Great location. Nice short walk to village or in the other direction to the beach. Nice clean site. Not too big. Good sized pitch even with awning. Toilet blocks are fab! Nice touch with the hairdryers and straighteners! Lovely friendly people who run it.

Mi è piaciuto Love this site. It was our 3rd time here. Special thanks to Charlie for bringing the fire pit to rent and logs, such a lovely friendly lad. Nice laid back feel here. We came with our daughter and had 2 vw’s with an awning and enough space for windbreaks and bbq area. Pitch sizes are amazing, you basically have as much or as little space as you like. The walks from the site are amazing. Great location. Thank you once again for having us! 😃

Mi è piaciuto Lovely well kept site. Grounds are kept beautifully. The toilet/shower blocks are one of the best we’ve had on a site. Nice touch with dog wash and wetsuit wash area. Staff are very friendly. We stayed in a camper on a small pitch. Perfect size for our VW with awning and extra space for windbreak/bbq area. Great location. A petrol station/shop and pub as well as Hele beach a short walk from site. About a 15-20 minute walk to Ilfracombe (quite hilly), but lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from, plus stunning scenery along costal path and boat trips. Wi-Fi was temperamental for me but hubby seemed to pick it up ok. All in all a great site. Would definitely stay again if we went back to this area. Thank you Hele Valley!

Non mi è piaciuto Not really a dislike but not used to it - due to site being narrow and straight, there is only one road in and out which means there were passing cars in front of pitch as people come and go. For caravans there is a horseshoe road off the main through road, so not as many cars passing.

Mi è piaciuto What a little gem of a site! The walks you can do directly from the site are stunning. Beautiful surroundings. Nice size pitches. We also walked to Monyash from site to pub (about 50 mins), which have great food options. The toilet block in the field is new and pristine! The people who run the site are so friendly. Loved that it was on a working farm. Phone signal and tv reception in van was excellent. We loved it so much we’ve booked again for later in the year when hopefully it’ll be sunnier and even better. Mi è piaciuto Great site. Great location. A short walk to Beddgelert with shop and pubs. Great location for walks and Snowdon. Scenery is amazing! The people who run the site are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Mi è piaciuto Nice site right on the beach which is beautiful. Nice layout for campers and tents. Great location. Easy to get to various landmarks and towns etc. guest services and staff are very friendly and helpful. Shower blocks are clean (could do with updating).

Non mi è piaciuto Dogs inside the restaurant. Especially when they’re sat on the fabric chairs! Would have been nice to eat inside without dogs around us.
