Mi è piaciuto Pleasant reception staff. Easy to get to and the pitch was almost flat.

Non mi è piaciuto Out of hours contact Our electric tripped out within an hour of setting up. The person on reception responded promptly. However, it tripped out again around 9:30 that evening. I rang a number on the leaflet given and left a message. We subsequently managed to resolve this ourselves as we carried an extra large cable but the point is no one returned my call. Not happy that I didn’t receive a courtesy call the next day. Didn’t try the showers due to previous poor reviews so relied on our own facilities but they looked quite clean

Mi è piaciuto Having read the poor reviews before I came I wasn’t expecting much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The fields are spacious and the site peaceful. The toilets are a bit tired but clean. We’re lucky enough to have a good shower in the van so didn’t use theirs. Had a meal the first night. Pub was clean, had a nice atmosphere and the staff were polite, the meal was delivered quickly, good food at usual pub prices had a peaceful night and we enjoyed our spot so much that we booked another 2 nights
