Mi è piaciuto Beautiful spot, lovely lake and woods - couldn't believe the place was so empty, but the prices might be putting folk off? My campervan pitch was cheaper than tent, so the pricing structure is a little odd. Lots of bad feedback if you look at the reviews, but tbf we actually really enjoyed it ! Yes it's basic, the toilets are simple and clean, no frills, same for the washup area, and the shower is an experience - warm, yes, private, less so - but nobody can see anything (and we were pretty much the only folk there it felt like) - but it's all part of the rustic charm ! And it looks like the site is a work in progress, so I bet it's constantly improving, but you can't improve that lake view and woodland - that's unchangeable ! Spoke to the guy in charge on the phone, Nigel I think - he was super helpful, so too was Blaze the host on site Oh, and the big firepits were awesome !

Mi è piaciuto Awesome little site, quiet, rustic charm, clean well kept facilities, the round the back urinal is such a cool idea ! Bernie was a helpful host, friendly and easy to talk to when he does his rounds. Nice little walk to the garden centre/cafe, chame the pub was a bit further away

Non mi è piaciuto More a suggestion than a disklike, but maybe some simple solar lighting in the toilets ?

Dal gestore: Some updates to the facilities over the winter, not as much as we would have liked as 'rain stopped play' but we are always trying to improve and update something every year.

Mi è piaciuto beautiful location, great views across the downs and towards the sea... super helpful hosts, there was a slight error, but things were dealt with swiftly, so you can't ask for more... facilities clean and modern - be nice to have some more hot water, but that is bein worked on apparently... great breakfast packs and food available be sure to read your emails about using the right road to get there - lol !

Mi è piaciuto spacious site, clean & modern facilities, friendly and helpful owner came and had a chat which was nice... friends stayed in the bell tent on the platform, which was awesome - great views and an amazing place to sit out of an evening... we stayed below in the camper van - all good fun ! thanks

Mi è piaciuto what an amazing find !!! fantastic location, right on the river bank of the stour, with launches so your paddleboard or kayak, or even hire a canoe on-site... a bustling little site, was a bit nervous it was going to be noisy all night long, but people stick to the rules and its all quiet at 11pm facilities on the more basic side, but can't fault them - clean and well-stocked fire pits to hire and wood to buy, coffee & pastries at the weekend, plus the ice cream van - all just add to the good vibes - make sure you take cash tho staff friendly and attentive, and akways available - overall a fantastic couple of days ! def. get on the water and head to the anchor pub in nayland if you're feeling adventurous - about an hours paddle for great food and great atmosphere

Mi è piaciuto Amazing stay, would have loved to have stopped longer ! Great location, near to Brecon yet remote enough to feel wild - great scenery and walks. The site is separated into different areas which you're free to choose your favourite, all based around the central barn where there are plenty of fantastic facilities - clean, spacious & modern showers and toilets, cooking & washing up facilities, honesty shop for all essentials, games, sofas, tables and so on. Fire pits are available and wood to buy, as well as lots of information about what to do and where to go in the area. The owners dropped by and were super friendly and helpful - would definitely return.
