Mi è piaciuto Rachel and John were the most friendly campsite owners we’ve come across. Always happy to help and lovely to chat with. The site was very busy this weekend but there was enough space and facilities for all.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site in a great location with spectacular views. The site was well laid out with flat pitches. Great little shop with delicious ice cream! Very friendly hosts.

Mi è piaciuto The location is perfect for exploring Eskdale. Flat pitches Facilities are basic but functional. Don’t expect fancy bathrooms. The showers are hot though. Jonty, the host is a legend. He’s very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Non mi è piaciuto It was a busy summer weekend so lots of campers who had campfires. Unfortunately, the smoke seemed to overwhelm our tent and was not pleasant.

Mi è piaciuto The location on the cliffs with views over Holy Island. Relatively flat large pitches. Clean portaloos Fantastic fish and chips from the John Dorey in Belford.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a fault of the campsite but there was a festival in a neighbouring field and the thumping music went on till 3am!

Mi è piaciuto The site is located in a lovely spot with lovely views of Cambridgeshire.

Non mi è piaciuto Could possibly do with a washing up area but we improvised and managed without in the end.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely farm camping. Friendly owner. Small site. Rural. Lots of walks and cycling trails nearby. The off grid shower was hotter than the main shower. Very eco friendly with compost toilets which were never smelly.

Non mi è piaciuto A bit exposed at times up on the top of the moors. We had an exceptionally windy night for the end of May. Make sure your tent is pegged down properly. A fridge in the utility room would have been a helpful addition as we could not see where we could get our freezer blocks frozen .. I guess you have to ask at the farm house. Overall it’s a great little campsite.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely campsite. Great toilet and shower block. Great utility block. Cafe on site but we didn’t try it. Nice friendly owners.
