Mi è piaciuto Stayed with our campervan. Large pitch with lovely views. Shared facilities were great and to a high standard with a kitchen area which includes a kettle and microwave. There are only two pitches and two Safari tents so the area is quiet and peaceful, a lovely place to escape to although we had really good phone signal so you can keep in touch if needed. There are no pubs or shops nearby so make sure to pack what you need or be prepared to travel out in the car/van. Didn't bother us but know some people like this. We were left to it for the whole stay which suited us perfectly.

Mi è piaciuto -Large, flat pitches -very clean toilet block -A nice clean site overall with good amenities

Non mi è piaciuto -Not allowed to walk dogs around the site, only walking for them is over a 60mph road and then over a style. -£5 key deposit system - why not just have code locks as this is just inconvenient for everyone! -50p shower tokens - better to build into the price -Signs EVERYWHERE telling you to do this, do that, don't do this or that. Not a very relaxing sight being told what to do every 5 steps!

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful surroundings, very clean facilities, large pitches. Owners are lovely.

Non mi è piaciuto Lots of flies due to lake setting (didn't bother us). Small nit pick but couldn't see anywhere to recycle on site.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful, peaceful surroundings, big pitches. Not too many pitches so won't be overcrowded. A great site.

Non mi è piaciuto Only one shower (mens) and it's very weak. Washing up point located outside and not fully covered.

Dal gestore: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have carried out extensive upgrade works during spring and the washing up sink was taken out, with the intention of the plumber returning to refit. Plumbers have been like hens teeth around here. The sink is back in place and we are just waiting for connection. Showers are all fixed and sorted. We do hope you had a safe and pleasant trip home.

Mi è piaciuto Site is very well situated for travel to Paignton, Torquay, Kingswear etc. Big electric pitches, powerful showers and a great bar/restaurant area with indoor (paid) and outdoor (free) pool. WiFi in the bar area and we had phone signal out on the pitches Facilities were clean and tidy and staff were friendly. A gem which we will return to.
