Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches, great playground, quiet at night, friendly owners, lovely pretty location, resident ducks. Hot showers, covered washing up area. We had a lovely stay here with family and would definitely recommend.

Non mi è piaciuto pitches have a slight slope to them but this didn't majorly affect us.

Mi è piaciuto Mobile home was clean. Nice little playground. Close to channel tunnel terminal. Great food in restaurant.

Mi è piaciuto Multiple playgrounds Level pitches with good views Tractor trailer rides Animals Good showers Clean toilets Lots of space to play/walk around in. Would be great if you had a dog! Enclosed ball game area Didn't feel too busy

Non mi è piaciuto Noise from the road Asked to get a barrier card and gave a deposit but the barrier was up the whole time so seemed a bit pointless. Gravel in half of the playground has migrated into the rubber area which made it very easy for the kids to fall over when running on the rubber

Dal gestore: Thank you for your review and feedback. Unfortunately, our barrier broke but has now been replaced with a brand new one. The barrier card deposits are refunded once the cards are returned. We will be replacing the gravel with rubber matting in the playground.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely setting for the bell tent. Friendly owners who went above and beyond to help when we realised we'd forgotten our firewood so the kids still got to toast marshmallows. Bell tent itself was fab, comfy and nice addition of a few boardgames. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We went to the space centre which was super easy to get to and the kids (4 and 8) loved.

Non mi è piaciuto If we were going to stay longer than a couple of nights I'd want a shower but it was perfect for us for a short stay

Mi è piaciuto The staff were so friendly as soon as we arrived and took the time to take us to our pitch with a bike guide pointing out the facilities on the way. The pitches were spacious and we felt like there was lots of space so we didn't feel cramped. Easy connections to electric hook up. They had placed us next to my dad which we had requested so this was perfect. Shower block was clean and included a free hairdryer which was useful. Pizza on a Friday night was delicious and the weekends morning crepes were a welcomed yummy surprise too! Playground is great for the kids. Little shop on site sold very tasty sausages. Would definitely stay again. Visited delamere forest nearby which was lots of fun for biking. Tesco is only about 5 minutes drive away.

Dal gestore: Thanks so much for your detailed review & photos. Glad that you enjoyed the pizzas & crepes and that you found the pitches generous. We do appreci8ate that on busy weekends the toilet block can get a bit busy, but it's a massive investment to build a new block.

Mi è piaciuto This was our first experience of glamping and it was pretty special. The view from the tent is beautiful and was lovely to sit round the fire pit and watch the stars and the moon. The tent itself was huge and had comfy mattresses for us all. The hanging rail was useful too. The log burner in the tent was great and took off the edge in the evenings before you headed to bed! The kitchen was very well equipped. We were provided with gas and Rhys brought us water whenever we were running low. The cool box provided was really useful too as were the fresh ice blocks that Rhys dropped in to us each evening. The shower is a bucket you fill up and then an electric pump with a shower attachment on it. It was actually a pretty good shower and my five year old found it hilarious. Some of the days out we did included a walk in Abergerloch forest, the botanical gardens of Wales (loved it here, so much to do), carreg cennen castle (nice, but a bit overpriced). We also took a drive over to Aberporth beach and walked along the coastal path to Tresaith which has a beautiful waterfall coming down into the beach. It was about a 45/50 minute drive so not too bad. Would definitely recommend if you want something a bit different, somewhere quiet, if you don't mind being in the middle of nowhere and you want a feeling of adventure! My five year and one year old loved it.
