Very nice camping spot, all as expected and more, fishing was great.

Lovely surroundings, large field with free choice of where to pitch. On site shop and cafe and also some lovely fishing lakes. Woodland walks, clearly waymarked. We had four large tents and a gazebo, for a good price.

Generally all good but the one let down was the lack of care for the toilets/showers. During our stay, the ladies and gents toilets ran out of paper. The main issue was the lack of cleaning of the block. We would have expected someone to clean/tidy daily, or at the very least be provided with equipment for campers to clean themselves.

We stayed on the electric pitches with our 6 man tent. Pitch we stayed on was rather steep. The grounds are great, campsite clean and well kept. Nights were quiet. The onsite facilities are a bonus : farm shop and cafe. The woodland walk was great 2, 2 lengths available. Goals up was a bonus for football loving children. A great location, easy to explore the local area. We would definitely come back.

My only suggestion would be to update the showers.

Good Pitch & Location. We do not fish but it was nice to walk around the lakes.
Farm shop was really good and had everything you needed.
Very Good service, we arrived late and the owner was very helpful.

Not much to dislike just your standard campsite.
Only complaint was that there was a lot of dormant/ dead grass. Just got everywhere and made everything so messy.
Could defiantly be cheaper. I feel like the £25 is not justified if you don't do the fishing.

Camping site was great and the staff very welcoming.
A lovely onsite cafe and farm shop.
A nice walking path around the farm and its lakes.

Campsite is inaccessible without a car. Was lucky to get a cab there pretty quickly but it took two hours to get one when leaving the site.
Would sadly not stay again for this reason, but most access the site by car so not an issue at all in that case.

Location was great, lakes pretty, lots to walk around and see, reception was very welcoming and the shop was good. one side of the site was on a bit of a slope although they provided some wood so we could level the caravan. Loads of space on the site too.

Toilets and Showers were ok, a little basic and could have been kept a bit cleaner

The fishing areas are fantastic

Calm place, nice trials, clean pitches, the toilets always when I went there it was clean and with toilet paper.
Was a lovely experience stay there, we made friends and all the staff was friendly and helpful.

Farm shop and cafe close really early, so if you need anything after 3 30 you need to go to the city (its only 5 min by car but still a bit inconvenient).
