Close to many interesting places to visit, staff are so very friendly, facilities are good

Nothing to dislike

I like the area, the campsite was clean and tidy and staff very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Only thing is that the cafe closes early.

Love this site - as evidenced by returning for my second visit. The onsite cafe serves a great breakfast. Nice onsite farm shop too. Friendly reception on plenty of space to pitch. Facilities are generally good, however the toilets could do with having toilet roll refreshed more often. Lovely lakes to walk round

Showers a little dated - no seats in the mens showers. Toilets were not cleaned/restocked as often as I would like.

Toilet/shower block not cleaned regularly, and sanitary bins not emptied and over flowing.

Good field space
My son loved that there was goals there so he was happy to play with them.

The farm was lovely good cafe but was dissapointed it wasn’t open in the evenings as it would have been nice to go down for an evening meal and a few drinks and to socialise with others

Pitches were a bit uneven and as I was disabled I was a little scared of falling

Open space, quiet, lakes, woodland and generally a lovely place to camp.

The toilets were not cleaned during our stay and no equipment for campers to do it.

Lovely place to camp, friendly staff, beautiful and clean place with lots of nature. Staff is on call 24 hours which is very handy. Bathroom was ok, could be better cleaned and maintained.

Water taps near to our pitch made it way to fill up and there were no problems with EHU. Beautiful surroundings and great cafe on site. The lady in the shop and on reception was really helpful.

The ablution block. It was so dirty, I didn’t see any cleaning being done during our 3-day stay and the site was very full so it was used a lot. No toilet paper in some of the cubicles in the ladies at 8.30 am and most locks on the doors were broken. I tried to use a squeegee on the shower floor but it actually made it dirtier! Tried washing off the squeegee but it was so bad I couldn’t. Really unimpressed with the state of the ladies’ shower block and I was told the men’s wasn’t great either.

Always happy at Wylands. My “go too” site in East Sussex. Great Cafe overlooking a fishing lake to watch them reeling in huge carp plus a farm shop and good walks. Really helpful staff. Great location near Battle Abbey. Oh dear, I’ve given it away and every one will want to go there now !
