Nice chalet - well equipped and great restaurant on site plus lovely friendly staff

The beds were too soft for us, a bit too old and very uncomfortable. Some washing up liquid would have been appreciated. There is no welcome pack so need to take absolutely everything with you. A bit much for a one night stay.

We had a lovely 3 day break 😀 very quiet great site breakfast in the cafe was delicious. Lovely walks round the lakes with dogs will definitely be coming back

Easy access to the site, lovely welcome and great explanation to which field we were on.

Toilet and shower block easily accessible and clean and tidy.
Electric points easy to use and plenty of water taps around the field.

Lights were intermittent in the ladies toilet and shower

Fabulous cafe/restaurant (worth noting its only open until 3pm).

Above my expectation to be honest as I visited a good few campsites within last few years and this place was nice and tidy very well organised very kind and helpful staff .Situated in the area where you can absolutely fully relax .
Brilliant opportunity for fishing enthusiasts as you got there more than enough of choice where you want fish .
I absolutely love this place and will try to come back there this year .
And definitely will be there next year.Not a lot for children but whole idea of camping is to get out from comfort and stay with nature not a monkey park

Shower block needs to be at least 3 times the size and needs updating whilst it was kept clean was grubby due to over use

The area,facilities,the cafe was reasonably priced. Friendly staff. The nature trails were good walks to do. Stunning lakes and views. The showers were good and clean .

The only downfall was no bins for rubbish.
