Campeggio bellissimo e tranquillo nel bosco, con piazzole spaziose e ombreggiate. Apprezzati servizi puliti e abbondanti, ottima piscina e buon ristorante. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Navetta gratuita per Vence molto comoda. Piccoli problemi con l'elettricità e scorte del negozio in via di risoluzione.

Mi è piaciuto Very well spaced pitches. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Really good swimming pool which was open much of the day. Really nice restaurant on site but “very “ French which wasn’t a bad thing. Very large site and would be very busy in summer. The toilet/showers are plenty.
Non mi è piaciuto Having to wait to be hooked up and disconnect form the electric as it was in locked cabinet.

We are sorry for our hook up for electricity.
We welcome you from 9 am to 9 pm but when the office is closed for midday even you can choose already your pitch and enter in the campsite you can't be connected, it is possible only after 3 pm when the check-in is finished.
When you are leaving if you do not want to wait, you just have to tell us the day before and we prepare it in order you can disconnect by yourself.
We enjoy to welcome you again

Mi è piaciuto The pool is beautiful, with fabulous views. The pitches aren't too close together, although they vary with respect to how level they are. Toilets and showers (plenty of hot water) are clean, although there's a slight eccentricity with respect to toilet roll not being available in the cubicles, you have to take how much you want before you go in. It's a quiet site with a bit of aircraft noise during the day from Nice airport. Free shuttle bus runs to the mediaeval village of Vence during the day, well worth a visit. Lots of washing up facilities (cold water only). The restaurant onsite is very good, although best to make a reservation to ensure it's open as opening times seem variable (possibly due to the fact that we visited in mid Sept, near the end of the season. Staff were friendly, and I think that attempting to speak French to them is appreciated, although good English is spoken on reception.
Non mi è piaciuto Can't put these as strongly as dislikes, more comments - there's an odd arrangement whereby the electricity is available via a locked box, so you have to ask for it to be opened to hook-up/un-hook. The onsite shop has very little stock although bread/croissants etc can be pre-ordered the day before and this works well. Shop/pool close for a couple of hours during the day, although this wasn't enforced at the pool while we stayed (a benefit of staying later in the season, perhaps?) Unless you have children who like walking, cycling etc there's not much especially for them, this didn't bother us as we don't!

Thank you to have tell us your experience.
For electricity it is our history, the campsite is over 70 years, and when it was created as the system is working, and accepted by the security administration we have not changed,it is good for the nature; we know that in the new campsite the system is different.
We agree for the shop but as it is rented they do not hear our advice, but you can let yours on their instagram account @lecabanonvence (the same people manage the restaurant and the shop. For the young children we have a playground or the older also fitness area, for animation only in July and August.

Soap we just put during covid and the year after, no problem with the covid but the year after it was terrificso we have taken off.
For the shop we know but as it is rented it is very difficult to tell them how to manage, you can on instagram @lacabanonvence
Definitely recommend this site as a great base to explore and cycle.

Mi è piaciuto The campsite is in a stunning area with great pitches. The shower and toilet facilities were very clean and loads of them so there was never any waiting.
Non mi è piaciuto There were two pool guards working alternate days so one day there was a nice atmosphere at the pool and on the other it was awful he argued, he manhandled people, even when you knew to take your shoes off (which everyone both new and old did as there were signs) he would aggressively tell you, so many times, pointing and shouting. He argued and upset people every day not very relaxing for people at all.
The shop was practically empty of goods and the staff so rude you never knew when they were going to stop taking bread orders for the next day or if he’d just seemed to take a dislike to you.
The restaurant staff were rude and over charged us €25 which we did get back but only after arguing the point!
If you’re looking for a friendly site this one is not for you very rude staff, with a few exceptions.
