Mi è piaciuto A lovely, peaceful spot! A warm welcome and what a treat to be actually surrounded by farm animals. Campsite was well maintained and all facilities worked well and were clean. Would recommend!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely little location, pub, milk hut, beach and shop close by.
Toilet facilities clean and a box with a fridge, kettle and toaster. We met the owners and they were lush!

There is chickens and cows on site and my little one loved this.

Mi è piaciuto Great location, 15 minutes walk to a local beach accross fields, 2 local pubs and a local shop. The site was easy to find and was just a really pleasant camp site, hourse, donkeys, chickens and cows as well as a nice lake. A great little base for a very relaxed camping experience. Loved the little horse box with a fridge, toaster and kettle great addition for a site with no electric. Everything was clean and we had a really very relaxed stay!

Non mi è piaciuto Only minor complaint is there is only 1 shower, but it’s a working farm so the fact there was a shower at all was frankly great :-)

Mi è piaciuto The small orchard field was very pleasant to put our tent up in under a tree due to the warm weather. The owners greeted us on arrival and were very pleasant and we enjoyed the animals. The fresh chicken eggs were very tasty.

Non mi è piaciuto For the number of tents in the three fields, three flushable toilets and four portaloos was severely insufficient. One flushable toilet that was closest to the largest field had no hot water capability and no working interior light. The advertised freezer pack facility was a very small under the counter freezer in the family field and the rest of the site's closest facility was a small open compartment in an under the counter fridge which didn't freeze our packs. The supply of toilet rolls was insufficient, so take your own. There were two washing up sinks but only cold water supplied and no plug, the use of the kettle and your own washing up bowl is recommended. This is a working farm with animals but the donkey isn't advertised and liked to be heard early in the morning.

Mi è piaciuto Location and facilities were great. There was a pub opposite, a flushable toilet and a box to make tea and wash up in dry.
The owners of the farm were lovely and very helpful.
The site also had a shed with vending machines with milk, milkshakes and ice cream. A really treat.

Mi è piaciuto Good location 5 min from beach by car and 5min away pub with good food is the reason only think i didnt like big field has no pitch marked so if u late u jeed to squeze between tents 😀

Non mi è piaciuto The campsite was overbooked on the bank holiday weekend for the number of facilities and size of field. There was no light switch in the toilets or showers so it was dark when you used them in the daytime. It was very cramped and cars were blocking each other in. Sadly we had a very inconsiderate drunk family next to us who played music until 11pm when our field was clearly full of young families. The field was next to a working farm so there were lots of flies everywhere. We won't be returning.

Although Gail & l run a large beef ,sheep & arable farm we make a big effort to make our camping guests welcome and do everything we can to make our camper welcome and comfortable and value for money Gail ensures all the facilities are constantly kept clean and tidy
Most of our reviews reflect this & realise it’s a working farm with the issues you raised are out of our control
Perhaps before booking a campsite you should research a bit more
