Irfon Valley Pods and Camping

Mi è piaciuto: The facilities were fantastic, really nice touch having all the games and activities, loved the free roaming chickens and geese too! Super peaceful and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable:)

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely couple who welcomed us. It was raining very heavily, when we got there for a tent pitch they were very accommodating when we asked to upgrade to daisy pod. The pod saved us, very comfortable beds, heater and perfect outside cooking area. The facilities were very clean and well looked after. Our son 6 loved the little museum on site, full of vintage and antique oddities.

Non mi è piaciuto: It’s was a shame to cold water shower wasn’t working as we do cold water therapy and would have enjoyed that. The distant artillery fire from the near by MOD was interesting and might wake lighter sleepers.

Mi è piaciuto: Welcoming friendly couple, amenities block was clean and well looked after.

Non mi è piaciuto: Hard standing was too small (VW T5) fit on snug which meant that walking around it churned up the mud - visit end of March/April wet weather. Child play area great idea but swing unsafe. Sign on entry isn’t obvious so we drove straight past.

Mi è piaciuto: Fantastic little site with lots of character. Spotless new toilets and shower. Friendly helpful host. POD was clean and warm on a very cold night. Shame it wasn’t less wintery as it’d have great to enjoy the evening sat on the porch with the fire pit. We will definitely return when staying in the area again.

Mi è piaciuto: Pods good size with plenty of room. Lighting very good and location excellent. 4 toilets and all in separate rooms. Lots of games and small outdoor play area for younger children. Lots of space.

Mi è piaciuto: We loved this site for our first time camping as a family of 5! We really liked that it is enclosed, that there is plenty of space to run and play! The tents are well spread out for some Privacy, the showers and toilets were clean and washing facilities too! Also that there was a communal space if needed with a shared fridge 👍 also the added bonus of outdoor games/toys and a small play area. All that and the animals made this a perfect stay for us!! And we enjoyed our first time camping (even in the rainy night weather!)

Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing to dislike! Our legs might have disliked the extra steps with the wheelbarrow to and from the car but we burned off the toasted marshmallows!!

We keep cars off the camping area, so it's a good job you brought your energy giving marshmallows, even if it wasn't that far to walk!! (I think that camping without marshmallows is a bookable offense anyway!)
