Auchingarrich Wildlife Park

Mi è piaciuto: We loved it all. I travelled as a grandparent to camp with my son and 4 grandkids. Our wee boy aged 4 is autistic. In your shop your staff member noticed his fascination towards the snakes and showed him one . He was so excited. Your farm suited us all plenty hands on meeting and greeting the animals. Your park was fabulous . We were able to sit having a coffee while the bigger girls played . And both indoor play centres were played in and enjoyed. Having kids with different needs is a struggle. But this park more than covered these needs. Even down to when the wee man fell asleep at table having tea. I took him out the high chairs and stayed with him on the sofa for hour till he rested was not questioned or asked to vacate the area . Sleep is good for him to regulate. This was our second visit to camp. Here. Will be back . The food also was great. At cafe. The best bit for the kids walking the sheep. Us adults relaxing while the kids played .

Non mi è piaciuto: Being eating alive at camp sight by midges. Camping on slop . Meaning sleep was hard going a wee trim trail at camp sight would been fab. No shower fasilities

Mi è piaciuto: Excellent and welcoming staff. Great experience for families. Easy and relaxed family camping.

Mi è piaciuto: Great park with such an amazing range of animals. Plenty of room in field for large tent and gazebo. Super friendly staff and very helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto: These aren’t dislikes….just suggestions. Grass could do with a cut in the top field. Maybe a later check out time. (I know you can also arrive early, but I would rather set up later and leave later)

Mi è piaciuto: Campsite was wonderful, beautiful setting. The activities and animals within wildlife park for young children were wonderful and the food at the café was delicious. The Starr we're friendly and the facilities around cafe were excellent.

Mi è piaciuto: Spacious camping field, access to the play park and see animals after hours, staff exceptionally friendly, food was excellent...pond for a wild swim.

Non mi è piaciuto: Not a lot to say here.... Other people's misuse of the composting toilet... Uneven pitch.

Mi è piaciuto: This place exceeded our expectations! Camping site in Auchingarrich is only a small addition to a nearly full-size zoo and multiple playgrounds for children. On top of that, absolutely stunning scenery surrounds the place. Suggest you book a two-day visit to fully enjoy.

Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing really. Would be great to add a few more fireplaces on the camping site.

Mi è piaciuto: Lots of space for large tent. Great views. The park was fantastic with lots to do. So many different kinds of animals and wildlife. This place is great for families and adults. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Lots of areas away from the main animal enclosures to take the dog a walk.

Non mi è piaciuto: The road up to the top field (next to pigs) was extremely muddy and slippery after the rain. The structure around the toilet felt like it was going to collapse when opening or closing the door. Another toilet wouldn’t go a miss.

Mi è piaciuto: amazing hidden gem, what a great campsite was our first time camping and what a great time we had there's something for all the family. we arrived in a group of family and friends we where made so welcome and Kevin always passing making sure we had everything we needed and his kindness towards kids made there camping trip highly recommend we can't wait to get our next trip booked to go back

Mi è piaciuto: Me and my Family are just back from camping here from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, with there being a big group of us and a lot of kids to try and entertain we were a bit sceptical about going camping but from the minute we got here from the minute we left we had so much fun!! Plenty to do, lots of animals to see and just an overall lovely place. The staff were so friendly (especially the man who drops off the fire wood to you in his little buggy thing) and they made us feel welcome and most importantly safe!! We’re already planning our next camping trip here and we can’t wait!🏕️
