Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto: Excellent site and showers/toilet well maintained, just wish the campers took care of them better. There are toilet brushes etc to clean up after yourself but people choose to leave their mess for the staff to clean up, people are disgusting. The site supplies clean drinking water and 16amp electric hook up on pitch for tourer/caravans. Pitches are hard standing with a grass area next to it. The beach is a short walk away but beware of the tides as you can get caught out very easily walking on what you think is beach but it’ll be under water when the tide comes in. There is WiFi but that’s extra which was a bit annoying

Mi è piaciuto: Tenting location ideal and secluded. Beach is beautiful. Narin is a lovely town.

Mi è piaciuto: Good pitch EHU Water Good heated toilet block with separate Shower blocks next door with seperate Male & Female areas in both. Spotless. Security patrols 24/7 Great dog walking/ hiking area Close to beach

Non mi è piaciuto: Sitter next to a large Motorhome on SP4 who for 3 mornings of my stay opened their door & let 2 dogs bark from 6am on all 3 mornings of their stay. Expensive bar & food. I walked into town if not eating in my van. Bar not dog friendly either. Only area outside for dogs 🐕

Mi è piaciuto: Ood size pitches. Electric & water at each pitch. Toilet block with separate Shower block next door both heated & spotless. Near the beach ⛱ Great for walks & wildlife. Good WiFi/ phone reception. Super easy check in & friendly staff. Would stay again at Apr prices. £20 per night +£4 per night for my dog 🐕

Mi è piaciuto: Having pool and restaurant on site. Made a big difference due to awful weather.

Non mi è piaciuto: Asking for a pitch close to the toilets due to ankle injury and walking past an empty pitch right opposite the block. Not being able to swim after 4 o clock and then not being able to book in for the morning session because it was already full. Luckily they take a number of walk ins.

Non mi è piaciuto: Showers are not fit for purpose . Looks to have had house hold shower units just fitted and not commercial ones. Either scolding hot or freezing cold with no in-between. Had to get the kids out as it was dangerous. No warning signs anywhere about the hot water and can't understand how they are not regulated to a certain temperature to stop scolding ? Toilet had come unbolted ,unstuck from the floor so it moves about . Toilet block is freezing and very run down , you would likely get a better one on a building site Complained to reception who said that we should have had the showers on at a certain setting as if it was set different to the neighbouring shower it wouldn't work properly . So if you go into the shower make sure to speak to the two people next to you and get your settings right lol. The manager would only offer vouchers and not a refund. Why would we want to come back ??? Very poor customer service ,The staff and owners need to go and stay at there own site for a few nights have a few showers and sit on the wonkey lose toliet and and then go to some other sites to see how it's properly done ..
